1984 Honda Interceptor VF700 Up for bid is my old 1984 Honda VF700 Interceptor. I had planned on holding on to this bike to teach my oldest son to ride, but my wife finally talked me out of it. Since I am selling my 07 Interceptor, I decided I might as well sell this one too. The bike was in pretty good shape until a coworker of mine dropped it while trying to move it recently. The left mirror stalk was broken as was the clutch lever. The left handle bar is a little bent but could probably be straightened out. When the handle bar bent back it also put a ding in the tank (see pics). There is also a one inch crack in the front fairing. At this point I have no desire to perform these repairs and would just rather sell the bike at a lower price and let someone else fix it up. Besides the cosmetic stuff the bike runs just fine and has plenty of miles left on it. The tires are a bit old and showing some dry rot. I would definitely replace them just for safeties sake. Also included is the complete factory service manual, the original seat which had a tear in the cover, an extra oil filter and a set of fork seals. When I bought the bike it was winter and the fork seals were leaking a bit. However, after changed the fork oil and warmer weather came and I started riding the bike they quit leaking. The bike has a fresh oil change. I have a hydraulic lift at work you can back a pick-up truck to for easy loading.
