I am selling my 1986 Vw Scirocco 8v with 36k original miles. I bought this car a few months back from the second owner, in hopes of restoring it. His buddy was the origonal owner of the car. He had told me that his buddy had lost control of the car and hit a fence back in 1996. So the car had sat since then. There has already been a new core support welded on and a new front fender put on. Apparently at the same time they had done body work to the right quarter panel (probably needs to be redone). I dropped and cleaned the tank, replaced both fuel pumps, some fuel line, changed the oil and spark plugs, ect. After that, the car started right up and actually drives pretty well. The clutch and trans feel good. The tires are complete junk. The radiator is leaking, but I have a new one along with a bunch of other parts that the past owner gave me. The AC is not hooked up and the condenser is out of the car (there is a new reciever/dryer with it). Mostly this car needs to be put back together. It will def need new hoses as the other ones are brittle. The sunroof doesn't work, the driver window is stuck up. It needs TLC, but it actually exists. The interior is faded, dash cracked, but no tears in seats or carpet. No RESERVE auction, bid to win. Please get your own shipping quotes. Ask any and all questions and I will try to respond ASAP.
