BMW R26 1956 Beautiful Bike in very good un-restored condition I beleive this is the first year the R26 was produced rare Dover white (as in the white cliffs of Dover England) most were black. The paint has been touched up over the years with the usual chips that come on a 56 year old... but still looks pretty good may be original paint but I do not know for sure, the left side (pipe side) looks best. Amazing constuction on these older BMW's... so smart from the shaft drive, to the solid aluminum shocks and the heavy duty tubing. The bike milage is believed to be accurate we have a repair manual and the luggage rack to replace the rear seat if you wish. The bike needs fresh gas an oil change and she is ready to go. Though we don't ride our display bikes we've been told the BMW runs very well. Engine No: 346540 Frame plate is without numbers Re-listed to correct the mistake in year. Sold with a clear title..so you CAN register it!!! Which means you can ride it. Period military watch for an extra $500.00
