Vehicle Detail
1969 Camaro RS,SS, Z28 Project. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BELOW This car is a project. It does NOT have a motor or transmission but was a V8 manual car from the factory. Has a clean Massachusetts title. It currently has an automatic brake pedal installed but does come with the correct manual pedals. The car also comes with 93 Z28 hydraulic pedal assembly and an 1982-1992 Camaro/Firebird brake booster and pedal assembly as we were going to use a hydraulic set up in this car. It does have factory power disc brakes. This car is NOT an original SS RS or Z28 but seems to be a V8 car and would be a great street strip or clone project. There are tons of pictures that go along with the written description below. A lot of the tough work has been done and it comes with a ton of parts. The car has new reproduction floor pans, new trunk pan welded in, seam sealed and coated with spatter paint. The car has solid rocker panels, one of which had a patch welded in, also the cowl panel has been repaired and restored doors, one needed a little patch and new metal has been welded in and roughed in. The doors are solid and straight, the door jambs and rocker structure are also solid aside from where the rear quarters were. The factory rear quarters have been cut off and we have GM replacements to go with the car. They were NOS GM quarters that were on another car for a year before it was totaled we cut them off to use on this project, they have a couple minor dings but are easily fixed and WAY better than Goodmark or other aftermarket replacements. Also there is a new reproduction rear panel and rear outer wheelhouses that go with the car. The inner wheelhouses were repaired and are now seam sealed and painted. The roof is also straight and solid, there is one 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch mouse hole in the driver's side upper corner of the roof. Its original dashboard and gauges are intact. It has a speedometer and fuel gauge, it does NOT have original tachometer or console gauges. The car also has a competition engineering full cage installed with notched door bars to allow for the use of 1969 RS Deluxe door panels. The car does come with a very clean pair of RS Deluxe door panels and a newer reproduction dash pad that is in very good shape as well as a clean original rear bumper that would more than suffice on a daily driver or street strip car. The car also has new frame mount bushings and also appears to have newer control arm and front suspension bushings. The car sub-frame connectors and traction bars and factory gas tank. It also has a 4:88 geared 8.5 Corporate posi rear end that was from an early 70's Nova that is a direct bolt in. It also comes with C Clip eliminator axles with bearings. They are not installed yet but do go with the car and are correct for the rear end. The car has new BF Goodrich 2950 50 15's on the rear on 15 X 8 Rally Wheels, good used BF Goodrich 2350 60 15's on the front on 15 X 7 Rally Wheels. It also comes with a pair of Goodyear 10 inch wide or so Slicks with tubes on 15 X 8 Rally Wheels and a pair of Mickey Thompson Street Cheater Slicks on 15 X 8 Rally Wheels. The car has two hoods one is a black steel hood with a Harwood Pro Stock Aero scoop, was set up with an air pan that we also have that goes with the car and a fiberglass lift off hood. Also have an L 88 Fiberglass scoop that would be a good candidate to glass into the blue and white fiberglass hood. The car has a steel radiator support, fiberglass front wheelhouses, fiberglass fenders, steel header and steel lower valance panel, fiberglass and steel cowl panels, fiberglass and steel trunk lids. Car comes with RS taillights, RS reverse lights and several sets of front RS headlight door assemblies. The car does have a windshield, rear glass, quarter glass and door glass and their tracks/assemblies. All are still in place in the car. Nose is temporarily put together. The car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction due to a local sale. Vehicle must be picked up within 30 days off end of auction.
