Vehicle Detail
‘93 Volvo 240 Classic Limited Edition wagon Collectible car with a lot of personality and yet still pretty modern (ABS, air bag, good mileage, etc.)This car, like all the US final run Classic Limited Edition, has wood trim, body colored mirrors, alloy wheels, a numbered plaqueWould make a great and fairly easy restoration project Generally fair to good condition Runs well, drives well, starts well, even in winter 51st last Volvo 240 ever made (see photo of numbered plaque on the dash) Automatic transmission182,200 miles Pros: Gets pretty good mileage Body in pretty good shape, some dings, minor rust if any Third row seat (not installed, all mount points there) After market IPD sway bars -- handles much better and more comfortable than stock Original radio (not installed) A/C (could use a recharge) Heated seatsHeated and power mirrors Clean, non-smoker Clean title Cons:Brake fluid leak (I’ve been topping it off ever so often, maybe just a cracked hose) Passenger side front door doesn’t open from outside Glove compartment doesn’t closeCrack in driver's seat belt This is a really nice car with a lot of potential, I hate to part with it, but we're going down to one minivan and a lot of bikes for our transportationLet me know if you have questions or want particular pictures and I'll try to help out On Apr-23-11 at 11:56:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Possible more cons with the car: A potential buyer came by to look at the car today and he thought that the brake fluid leak could be from the master cylinder, that there is a leak in the water pump, and that there could be a leak from the heater core, which apparently can be labor intensive to replace. Oh, and he thought the paint was not original.
