Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1968 Fiat 850 Spider, I have had this car for a couple years and haven't really had a chance to work on it like I had wanted so it's time to go. I got it to the point where it runs and drives pretty good, but with a little work on the carb and the distributor it could be a daily driver. It has rust in a couple spots and one nice big dent on the drivers side door that has been filled with body filler, it also has a spot under the hood where they cut out a rusty piece but never replaced it. It has new floor pans installed, not exactly a professional job but decent. The passenger side seat is just sitting in the car the tracks for it still need to be welded to the new floor pan. The engine runs pretty good but starts hard, one of the distibutor advance springs were missing so I replaced it with one out of my MSD billet distributor kit. It now runs but the mechanical advance doesn't work right, when you have it running good and shut it off it is hard to start, if you retard the timing so that it is easy to start it runs like crap. That should be an easy fix with a rebuild kit or new distributor. It has new belts and the motor was recently rebuilt, I don't know when but I have the old pistons and oil pump to prove it. There are no shocks on the car so it is a little bouncy and the rear right tire goes down after about two days. It comes with a spare but I don't know if that holds air or not. It has a brand new convertible top and I believe every other part aside from some weathersripping to make this a complete car. The windshield has a small chip that looks like it could be repaired easily. Most of the electronics work but some of the gauges are intermitent. It has a new brake master cylinder installed on the car so it stops great. It comes with a new marker light, some new flexible brake lines, some new weather stripping that I believe is for the hood, a new convertible top and lots of parts. Send me a message if you have any other questions.
