Here is a used 1996 Jetta - it was my daughters - she used it for college. It has 167,000 miles. This car has an AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION! NOT a manual one - I tried to edit the listing but it would not let me change it. It will need a transmission I am told. Will not move in reverse but will go forward. Engine had a new timing belt and transmission wiring harness in the last 12 months. Car was running good until trans acted up. Good body - not dents. Rubber Trim missing on door. Windows work but one is off the track and needs to be put back on. Good heat & AC. Radio works but cassette does not. Very good tires all around Cooper Weathermasters. Car was getting excellent gas mileage. Call with any questions. I am located 20 miles south of Elmira, NY and 35 miles or so north of Williamsport, PA.
