I am selling my Green 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Hardtop Coupe. This car is in excellent restored condition and is a perfect daily driver. The car has the 455 engine with automatic transmission and it runs and drives fantastic, very solid and very fast.. I bought this car in 2001; the previous owner spent a lot of money restoring it. I have not used the car much since. The car is always garaged when not in use. The only reason why I am selling it is because I do not have the time for it. This car is NOT museum quality and should be considered a clean daily driver / local car show conversation piece (you don’t see many of these around). Will pass NH inspection.. ENGINE + TRANSMISSION: This vehicle is equipped with a 455 engine and automatic transmission which runs and drives great. The car does have an edelbrock carburetor and intake. The original carburetor does come with the car. The transmission does leak a bit, roughly a few drops a week. The car does have A/C but it is not hooked up, the parts needed are included with the car. The odometer shows 98,428 miles I believe that this is the original miles but due to the age TMU (true mileage unknown). BODY: (see pictures) The car was painted its original green color before I bought it and the paint is in great shape. There are 2 small dings on the car, one on the passenger side front fender and one in the passenger side rear quarter both are hard to see. The car is very solid and the undercarriage is very clean. Some of the trim is worn, small stuff like one of the rear taillight bezels has a crack, very small gap on the drivers side door window and probably needs adjustment, simple stuff like that that just needs a little TLC. The tires are recent. This car will pass NH state inspection. INTERIOR: It has the original green interior, bucket seats, console shift new carpet overall the interior is in great shape. (see pictures) Everything works except for the aftermarket gauges and the vent fan, these were working I am assuming that it just might be a fuse but I have had no time to look into it. The headliner is in good shape and has the seatbelt clips but there is a small hole about 1inch in diameter right above the front passenger seat. PAYMENT + PICKUP: Payment is due in Cash, Certified check. Car will not leave until all funds clear with my bank. Car must be picked up; I will not arrange shipping that will be up to the buyer, I will meet with the shipper. Car must be picked up from Merrimack NH 03054.
