This is a 1976 Honda TL250 Vintage Trials bike. I restored it about 18 months ago and it has been ridden about 4 times since. As you can see it is tastefully done in factory Honda colors of the early eighties with two part epoxy paint. Mechanically it is in great condition with many parts completely original. It’s got new trials tires, tubes and rim strips. New wheel, steering, and swing arm bearings/bushings. New control cables/grips. New Amal slow trials twist grip. New brake and clutch levers and kill switch. It has been completely rewired. It has newer brake shoes and these were not replaced during the restoration. The carb has been professionally rebuilt with OEM parts by a honda mechanic. The fenders are fiberglass exact replicas of the original. It has the original side covers that are cracked and I will include brand new fiberglass replicas with the sale. It has been fitted with modern, larger and more comfortable foot pegs. Most of the bolts, nuts, washers and other fasteners on the engine and chassis have been replaced with Stainless steel versions. I am probably leaving a lot out that I can’t remember, but rest assured this restoration was very extensive and expensive. The engine is in extremely good condition and wasn’t taken apart during the restoration. It is as delivered from the factory. Some gaskets such as those at the cam inspection covers and cylinder head seep a little after a day or two of riding and could be replaced if the new owner desired. I wash this bike after ever ride and it never bothered me. I restored this bike so my son and I could ride AHRMA vintage trials together but we seldom could make our schedules mesh and rarely rode together so I am selling it. Vintage bikes of this caliber are few and far between. I have a lot more money into this bike than I am selling it for. Obviously, being a dirt bike, this bike never had a means to track mileage (no odometer). However ebay requires a number in this field before posting. Therefore, I entered a random number. ACTUAL MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN. Further, dirt bikes were seldom sold with a title. THIS BIKE NEVER HAD A TITLE. It will be sold with a bill of sale only. The bike is in Colorado Springs Colorado and is being offered for sale as is where is, but I will consider helping with transportation on a case by case basis if you e-mail me BEFORE submitting a bid.
