Up for auction is a 1965 Corvair Monza. This classic is in good shape for the year, but still not a new vehicle. Body is in good shape with a dent in L. front fender, see picture. Car was painted before I bought it and needs repainted. Driver side door has a small amount of rust at the back edge inside, see picture, passenger door is good. Small amount of rust starting to appear at windshield edge but not serious yet. Trunk is solid except a bit of rust in very bottom of pan, see picture. Floor pans good. Motor compartment good. Interior is fair, see pictures, but could stand redone. Carpet is really good. All 4 breaks have been rebuilt with new shoes as well as master cylinder. Has 4 new radial tires with about 600 miles. The motor is an opposed 6 cyl. with 2 carbs rated at 110 HP. Motor starts and runs good but does smoke at start up. Clears out after warm up. Has an auto trans. 2 speed powerglide that shifts smooth and does not slip. We have driven the car quit a bit on 30-40 mile trips with no issues, but not taken on any long trips. Car rides and handles great. Plenty of power with this engine. I have described this car as best as I can. If you have questions or would like to see pictures I don't have, just ask.
