Vehicle Detail

First off an important item is the fact that this auto has minimal rust. Any troubled areas I found I scraped brushed and treated with rust stopper and preventative. The battery tray had rust on it's surface but is solid and surface only. There was some found behind the drivers seat and it was treated and painted. I have done far to much to this car to be listing it all but I'll list some of the features New German front rotors, ceramic organic pads, and calipers Several new pieces of rubber moldings Tires have 90% tread Engine runs good and strong (was told by last owner that it had been rebuilt a short time back but have no paper work to show that. Trans. and clutch are good Body is very straight and solid but paint is terrible. Oil and filter was just changed New air cleaner and filter Porsche alloys Weber two barrel conversion New plugs, wires, cap and rotor New halogen head lights Center console w/gauges The photos of the underside where before I sprayed under coating. Purchase comes with original owners manual and after market mechanics book. Bad! Rear brakes now need to be done Paint looks much better than it is (buffing would help tremendously) Heater duct work was removed and needs to be put back on (I have all the parts) heat exchanger is in very good condition and still in place. Interior is good for a daily driver and that's about it (tears in seats as seen) One of the head lights just quit working for no apparent reason Wipers not working Temp. gauge is not working but I can see that it's not hooked up in the engine compartment. Many parts are included such as several rear view mirrors, drivers arm rest, sun visor, all heater components, arm rest for center console and more. Until recently this car had been parked under a carport for the last nearly two years. I bought it from the owner who had owned it for the last fourteen years and decided it was time to let it go. I have had a good time doing all the work on it to put it back on the road but it needs and enthusiast now. This is a real solid car and worthy of a full restoration or use it now as a daily driver. Please contact me with any question and I'll try to answer them as best as I can. I will cooperate the best I can with shipping but it is the responsibility of the buyer for all arrangements and costs. On Apr-05-11 at 21:25:26 PDT, seller added the following information: This is the 1.7 liter motor and was known to be the original motor during the fourteen years of the previous owners possession. It is also the original paint color and I've checked out both doors, the hood and trunk lid and verify them to be original to the car and have not been replaced at any time. On Apr-07-11 at 08:09:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I decided that the carburetor was having a small issue and so I have ordered a new one and will be installing it on Monday. I just ordered and will also be installing a brand new sound and heat pad for the firewall in the engine compartment as well. The tires are Yokohamas and the spare also has the matching factory alloy wheel. This represents another $365 just spent so the buyer doesn't have to. On Apr-07-11 at 16:30:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Headlights and wipers are now working and existing carburetor is fixed and back on the car. I pressure washed the under side of the engine and will post photos soon. Heater fan is now wired up and above engine ducting in new. I still am having fun working on it until it sells so there are more improvements daily but not for much longer. On Apr-11-11 at 15:46:16 PDT, seller added the following information: New carburetor is now installed and throttle response has improved dramatically. New sound and heat pad on firewall is also installed. Car is running very well!
