If you have been looking for a nice Silverado pickup and don't mind a few extra miles if it has been well cared for then you need to take a close look at my 2000 1500 X-cab 4X4 Z71 that is a 1-owner rust free Florida truck. If you are familiar with these trucks then you know they will run well over 200k miles and more so there is a whole lot of life left in this Chevy. Autocheck says it is a calculated 2-owner but it is a 1-owner truck, bought new right here in Ft.Myers at our local Chevy dealership by a local fireman and traded back in by the original owner in this shape, NO auctions! Autocheck did show a minor accident. The front bumper was bent in on the side, I paid a guy $60 to bend it back out, that was all that was damaged and it still has all the original paint. This truck looks and drives very nice and everything works great as well. The exterior shows a bit of normal wear for the age and miles but there are no major dents or scrapes and being a true Florida truck there is no rust and even the underside still looks very clean. Again, the paint is all original and still looks nice and there is a bedlinner, hitch and side chrome step up's. The tires are matching Michelin's with good tread remaining and the factory aluminum wheels too look nice with just normal wear for the age. The interior is nice and clean with no stains, rips or odors. The seats are in nice shape both front and rear and all the power options work good including the ice cold air conditioning. The stereo sounds nice but I couldn't get the CD to play. The powerful 5.3 litre Vortec V-8 runs smooth and quiet and doesn't smoke at all. The brakes are smooth as is the transmission. The 4X4 works great as well. It's got a few miles on it but it looks and drives great and should run for many more years. It's a whole lot of truck for the money that's for sure. I have great feedback so you can be sure that this vehicle will be just as nice as I am stating. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the purchasers state sales tax and not to exceed 6%. The purchaser will then be given a notarized reciept proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit and will NOT be charged twice. Any additional fees or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida. There is NO sales tax collected for out of the country purchases. Buyer assumes the cost of shipping.
