HERE'S A 1983 PININFARINA SPIDER ROADSTER CONVERTIBLE THAT IS A ONE FAMILY OWNED VEHICLE THAT IS TOTALLY UNALDULTERATED OR RESTORED AND IN 99% FACTORY ORIGINAL CONDITION EXCEPT THE MUFFLER AND RADIO. You won't believe the original condition of this vehicle! It is a North Carolina rust free car that has been meticulously kept and maintained throughout it's life. The owner told me it hasn't seen rain in 20+ years. After Fiat stopped exporting these to the U.S. in 1982, the Pininfarina factory actually produced them for export and only delivered approximately 3,000 to the U.S. market in three years. They were the first cars to be actually produced and badged at the Pininfarina factory, well known for their Ferrari designs, This one is one of the very few remaining cars that has all ofm the original factory paint which is bright and shiny, never having been repaired or refinished in any way. The undercarriage is solid and indicative of a garage kept vehicle without the rust issues normally associated with them. The tan leather seats, carpet and top are in exceptional condition without any rips, tears or stains. It really is in incredible condition for a 28 year old car! The engine is quiet and without any lifter or cam noise and the five speed manual transmission functions tight and smooth, no issues whatsoever. The clutch is tight also. It drives straight and true, smoothly down the road even at 80 MPH. All of the options function as new also. This one is equipped with FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING that is ice cold and upgraded to the new Freon, Blaupunkt am-fm c-d stereo radio, power windows, convertible top boot cover, all the books and even the original window sticker, both sets of original keys even with the original "P" key chain, Three sets of floormats in great condition, fullsize matching spare wheel with pirelli tire, 99% condition cast wheels and a set of 185/60/14 Pirelli tires that are nearly new! This car also comes with a fiberglass hardtop that was ordered from the dealer when purchased and is in like new condition! The muffler was replaced with ANSA sport exhaust but the owner kept the original muffler and exhaust for the purest and iI have it with the car. The woodgrain on the dash is also in 99% new condition.The Spyder has just had the timing belt replaced by me and all of the service has been done!I really don't think you could find a more original and finer example of one of these very rare cars anywhere for any price! The only disclosure that I can offer is that the front bumper has been pushed in a little bit on the right side but can be aligned relatively easy and there are a very few and very minor normal road dings and touched-up spots. That is it! There is NO floorboard or trunk rust. This truly has to be one of the nicest, unrestored Spyders on the market today. This vehicle has no undisclosed issues at all. All of my vehicles have a free and clear title without any liens. This vehicle has been completely serviced and inspected and should give you many years and miles of trouble free driving.
