This Rare Mustang is a true survivor with original #'s matching drivetrain and original paint. This Mustang came from the factory loaded with options such as 390GT engine, 4spd tranny, GT equip. pkg, 4piston disc brakes, power steering, Deluxe interior and Deluxe exterior pkg, Upper and Lower consoles, Tinted glass, Styled Steel wheels, etc.. The original color combo was Dark Moss Green with Parchment ( light Tan ) Deluxe interior. A GREAT color combo. See Marti Report for specific details. Specifics: Drivetrain: The car has its Original 390GT Engine. The engine will fire up and run. However, it has 2 leaking freeze plugs. The engine will have to be pulled out to replace these. I stopped at that point. The engine has Correct S-code intake manifold, GT heads, and GT exhaust manifolds, even the original radiator, correct fanclutch and fan. Correct / original chrome valve covers. It has a replacement holley carb and incorrect air cleaner Transmission and rear are original to the car. Has factory correct 4spd Toploader and correct shifter. Also, Ford 9inch rear. Body: This car was built and sold new in California and spent most its life there. Therefore, this car is really solid ! The floorpans, trunkfloor, quarter panels, Cowl, fender aprons, frame rails, doors, fenders, rockers, etc.. are all real solid. The fender aprons have all the serial numbers clearly stamped, and original door tag is in place. See pics. The only rust I'm finding on this car is the passenger side frame rail extension under the floorpan needs to be replaced.. The car does have a few dents and dings but overall really not bad for a 45 year old car and amazing to see original paint and stripes on it. The car is pretty much complete on the exterior and all original. Missing foglights but does have the correct grille with foglight bars, wiring and switch. I have a nice original GT gas cap that is included with the sale. Interior is all there but needs to be redone. It will need new carpet, upholstery, dash, door panels,headliner etc... Also, the lower console is broken. ( The plastic part ) The car was missing front seats when I got it. I installed correct 67 Mustang Deluxe front seats but they didn't have the seatbacks. ( they do reproduce these now )The deluxe door panels are complete with all trim. car is located in woodbridge virginia car needs to be restored complete nice project i purchased this with plans of restoring it but just purchased new 2012 boss 302 and just not going to have time Anyone is welcome to come inspect the car in person.
