Vehicle Detail

This is the biggest, 18,000 lb GVW, 10,000 lb load capacity Divco milk truck available. Originally operated by Timber Valley Dairy of Lebanon, OR The good: $2,500 spent on rebuilding the front end, including all ball joints, tie rod ends, and bushings. $2,000 spent on rebuilding the entire brake system, including master cylinder, vacuum power booster and cylinder, all wheel cylinders, all brake shoes & drums, and hydraulic system fluid flush. New front tires, dually rear end with excellent tires. Stand up/sit down seat and controls (dual brake and clutch pedals) all functional. In addition to the installed seat cushion botttom and back, a brand new seat bottom and back (new base, new foam, new upholsery) is included with the truck! Ford 300 ci 6-cylinder engine in very good condition, starts right up and doesn’t smoke/use oil. Just tuned up with new points, condenser, rotor, cap, wires and plugs. Propane-powered engine means no carb or gas to go bad and foul up the fuel system – store it for years without using it, and it starts right up. Transmission works good, as does the clutch. Factory-installed options include a 120V freezer that plugs in overnight and is insulated well enough so that frozen products are still frozen at the end of the day. According to the Divco ad, it is 222” long, 100” high, 90” wide, overall. The box is 122” from the seat back to the back door, and the interior is 67" floor to ceiling. Clear, Washington title, some of the original Oregon paperwork included. It was stored outside five years ago, after the front end and brake work was done. When the owner contacted me to sell it, all I had to do was charge the battery and it started right up. I’ve driven it around the parking lot, went through all the gears, and tested the clutch and brakes. They’re all good. The following original Divco books are also included: Divco Model ULM fourth series instruction book Divco Model 33-34-37 instruction book Divco instruction book for: Dividend early 1961 series 4, 5 & 7 and late 1961-62 series 40, 50 & 70 Snub nose series early 1961 series 1, 104, 204, & 304 and late 1961-62 series 10, 100, 200 & 300 Divco Snub nose series service parts list for early 1965 series 10, 100, 100X, 200 & 300 A cardstock advertisement for Divco models 206 and 200 snub-nose retail delivery trucks A two-sided cardstock advertisement for Divco models 206 and 200 body and chassis specifications Timber Valley Dairy advertsing pencil also included The bad: There is some exterior through-rust, but all the through rust is in flat, non-structural panels, easily repaired. As the pictures show, except for the left rear fender, all the curved panels are in very good condition and do not need work. The chassis/underside has surface rust but a sandblast and undercoat is all it needs. The left rear fender will need some bodywork (see picture). Pictures of the rear interior are available on request, I ran short of eBay picture allowance. You are welcome to have the truck inspected prior to bidding, NOT after the winning bid has been submitted! A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the listing ending. PayPal is acceptable for the deposit. Remainder to be paid by certified check, money order or wire transfer. All funds must clear prior to vehicle release. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the seller. We can arrange worldwide shipping. Good luck and happy bidding!
