You are bidding on a 1981 Delorean that will be an easy fix for someone and will make a great driver. The car was a one owner car showing a little under 21,000miles, the gentleman that owned the car passed several years ago and the family parked the car behind their house and covered it with a tarp and let it sit for several years before the guy I bought the car from ended up purchasing the car about a year ago. The car is in good shape with the stainless only having a couple of small dings on the front hood and fender which can easily be taken out. All of the glass is in good shape except for the windshield will need to be replaced. The car runs and drives but will need a tune up and some work, it is running very rich and I am not familiar with the fuel regulator on this car so I have left it alone. I have only pulled the car in and out of the garage so I dont know how it will do out on the road, the brakes seem to be sticking a little probably from sitting because the pads are good. I pulled the car out yesterday to take the photos and shut it off and then tried to pull it back in but it would not start but tried it this morning and it fired right up so I am sure it has something to do with the fuel system. I did put a new fuel pump on the car and plugs and changed the oil when I got it and tried to clean the tank the best I could without removing it so there may still be some trash in the tank. The car has no leaks it has been in my garage several months and there is nothing......... The interior in the car needs some work due to the sun and heat, the dash, console and seats need to be recovered and it needs a headliner. The carpet looks good and can be used, the windows are not working dont know if it is the switches or the motors. The wipers work along with lights, radio and fan the ac compressor is not locked up put did not put a belt on and charge it to see if it blows cold. The tires and wheels look good but the wheels do have some pitting and the paint is flaking off the caps, the tires look original but a   couple of them are showing dry-rot. The undercarriage is needs to be cleaned but is in good shape and under the front bonet is very clean and has the original spare. This would make someone a nice easy project which you would not have to spend alot of money to start driving it, that is what I bought it for but I have other cars I am building that it taking all of my time so this one needs to go. The body on the car is in good shape it has a couple of dings on the front bonet and driver fender but should be an easy fix. The lights do work along with the horn and radio and rear defrost. I do not see signs of any rust underneath the car but does need a good cleaning. I have not driven the car but in and out of the garage so I am not sure of it being road worthy or if it needs something specific. The front and rear bumpers have been repainted and are driver quality, the front still has some pitting showing through but looks good to be a driver the guy before me did that. If you want to make it a show car I would redo them. I would also replace the tires I would not trust them on the road but you can be your own judge on that. I do not know if the miles are correct but it has alot of the original decals still in the doors under the engine compartment and front bonet and the car matches the miles to me. The back of the seats are in great shape since they did not get any sun so they were protected from the elements. The running of the car is questionable like I stated early on I started and pulled it out to take photos and it was fine but when I finished I tried to pull it back in and it would not start. But the next day it started right up and pulled it back in the garage so I know these cars are tough to get the fuel mixture right and it may be something simple but I am not going to try and fix it I may make it worse. My plan was to put a different engine in it anyway so I was not concerned about the running of the car.
