1970 “SS 454” ROTISSERIE RESTORED CHEVELLE. This is a frame-off slightly modified restored Chevelle with all original steel panels. The car was stripped to bare metal and has no filler. Have photos of the original Chevelle and rebuild. This is a replica of an SS-454 and very well done. It has won several awards/trophies by the previous owner and I have received two “Best Car” trophies at local cruise-ins with it. It is equipped with a decked 454 big block with the rectangular ported heads, an Edelbrock hydraulic camshaft, lifters. Original bore at 10.5-1 compression, Keith Black pistons, Edelbrock performance intake, 750 cfm Edelbrock Performer Series Carburetor, 6 qt oil pan. Dynomax headers and Borla stainless exhaust system. 4 sp Muncie transmission. 12 bolt posi-trac rear end with 3.23 gearing. Power steering and brakes. Paint is a Glasurit 96 GM Dark Cloisonne Poly, clear coated and the frame is painted with POR-15. All body panels were stripped to bare metal inside and out and finished both sides. The underbody is finished out with the Cloisonne paint and clear coated. The car is equipped with a rebuilt correct year AM-FM radio although has never been connected. Car is also equipped with the LS6 style dash complete with tachometer and needle gauges. The car also comes with a set of ladder style traction bars. The car has 1182 miles on the rebuild and has NOT been abused. The only miles on the car were those driven to and from local area car shows.
