Under the hood it has a powerful and economic 6.8L V10 engine mated to a heavy duty 5 speed manual tranny. In my opinion the V10 is more reliable than the diesel and everyone knows the manual gearbox will outlast an automatic. It is really fun to drive, better on gas, and feels like it could pull a house. There is no a/c but when you roll down the window and slide the rear glass open the cab is well cooled. Everything is nice and simple. It just works. It is definitely a big boy truck. I have the original title and window sticker. It was bought and used here in Southern California and has never seen any severe weather. Like any work truck it has a few dings and scratches, nothing that needs to be addressed. Tires are very good including the spare. The seat is torn on the driver’s side but as you can see it is covered nicely. All the drawers operate properly and the locks work. The rack has pipe boxes and there is a sliding vice base on the back. It is also nice to be able to carry things in the bed and not worry about it being easily stolen. Everything is covered and there are two padlock loops for added protection. This baby is ready to give years of trouble free service. You are welcome to have it inspected by your mechanic. This truck has so much going for it, I’m sure there is something I forgot to mention.
