Hello Everyone . This car is being relisted due to me not having a proper description. LOOK AT THE AUTO CHECK IT"s ABOVE AVERAGE. NEVER IN ACCIDENT AND NEVER TAMPERED WITH. HIGH SCORE 87. This 328IS 1997 is a great runner car Engine runs great it does not smoke. Suspension is tight because a blisten suspension has been installed about 6000 miles ago. I changed the Front hubs before it was parked and new Brakes and routers $ 1500 The routers have slight surface rust but will disapear when you drive it.. Many parts have been changed but the last person to click buy it now doesn't understand the mechanical part of it. but that ok. someone with a little mechanical knowledge will love this car. There was a Stereo installed That is All 8 speakers have been changed to infinity capa's . There are 2, amps. 1 runs the surround ( Dolby 5.1 ). 1 runs the sub. It has a Sony 7 inch flip touch screen dvd with removable face. Also has 2 tv in the headrest which work and are about 1 year old. This car has had alot of tlc considering it's a 97. Has a Viper security system . The windows roll up when you lock the door. The viper alarm also has on the keychain a display of the car in case the alarm goes off it will let you know.. The suspension and steering is tight. solid car. 3 Windows in the back are lightly tinted. And comes with A custom sub box to fit in the truck perfect against the custom board holding the 2 amps. If you are a mechanically incline person this car is going to be a deal for you. However if you are a person that has to pay someone to work on a car for simple things . DON"T buy this car. it does have some cosmetic flaws so please don't be expecting a showroom finish without any flaws it has very small hardly notisible flaws The cosmetic flaws are tire rub on the upper wheel wall. from the lower suspension. it is hardly visible .silver is the best to cover with touch up paint and not be visible 5 feet away. It never bothered me still great. the tires will last for 6 months at least. They are bridgestone potenza's . In the report that the previous person inspected they said 1 tire worn and the others they used a mesaurment tool and don't make much sence. Look at the pictures these pictures where taken a few weeks before i parked it I never needed to change the tire or i would have. They are fine. Grip great. A K&N air intake was installed WITH HEATSHIELD. $300 . Just a K&N is like $50. $3k is invested in the Stereo and $3k is invested in parts if not more. If someone needs to put $500 to $1000 into this car your still going to walk away a winner. Now things that need to be done. It will not pass smog because it needs a secondary air intake. The part is $150 on ebay. This is a california feature. it burns of the exhaust for the first 30 seconds. The check engine light will come on and off due to this Air intake problem. Mechanic 2 hrs Labour $200 ABS light is on because it's been parked . I am sure when you drive it it will go away. I seen it lots. I am very mechanically inclined person and have been working on car for a long time. I know what this car is mechanically engine and trany are perfect. I know there is no problem with the ABS itself. It needs $3 SIDE SKIRT clip from bmw. the front passenger side clip broke. but in there report they make it sound like it's trashed. I have a copy of there so report and will be glad to share it with anyone interested in this car. if you look at the first photo look closely you can see where the $3 clip is needed. Also look closely at the pictures of the front wheel fender. directly above the tire is where you can see the dent from the tire rub. The report also said that a fog light was missing. Well i will let the new owner buy a set on ebay up to $100 and i will pay for it. There are many different styles on ebay so choose what you like. BMW want $128 for 1 fog light. I know I replaced both of them before I parked it. and a car wash. I use to clean it a lot and wax it a lot . as you can see in the pics. Also if you look at the picture of the inside door. you will notice there is plastic rings missing around the inside door handle. They are in the car. I just never put them on because it did not bother me. That was also mentioned in the report. So if you have questions please make sure you ask. I will try to list as much pictures as I can. The last person played a bit of a game with me because. They clicked on BUY IT NOW. then they told me they were going to get a shipping company to pick up the car.. They were just trying to Reserve the car knowing they were going to get a Inspector to look at the car before paying. but just never decided to tell me . probably because they though they were being smart about instead of just telling me that they were going to do that.i would have been fine with the idea someone was going to look at it. i just don't like the idea a week later they tell me they don't want it. the report should have been done before. The bidder told me the company will only go if someone clicks buy it now. ??? hhmmm weird . So after the report they decided that they don't want the car. it was for a 16 year old and they expected a Showroom shine top of the line BMW even though it's a 1997. IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE CAR DON"T CLICK BUY IT NOW.. If you want to see it before you buy it No problem i would rather someone look at it with there eye anyway instead paying someone else and panicking over the word dent that i din't mention. IF YOU HAVE TO SHIP THE CAR PLEASE DON"T ASK ME TO LOWER THE PRICE SO YOU CAN GIVE MONEY TO THE SHIPPING COMPANY lol. Just wait and i will lower over time.. IF you plan on buying a 328IS and like it stock . Please keep searching. but if you wana Stock car + 6k invested into it. this is a great deal to continue where i left off. By far the best car i even driven was 328IS. i like these better then the newer one's. HAPPY CAR SHOPPING
