Vehicle Detail
1969 Ford F-100 4X4 Short Bed Ranger ONE OF A KIND The Black. Here is the good: New tires. BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA (33 12.50 R15) Ford racing rims. New radiator.Thermostat is new. 23,617 miles on Aamco transmission rebuild.54,844 on motor rebuild...No smoke, just roaring, throaty, Ford power... New water pump in last 12,000 miles. New master cylinder in last 12,000 miles.New fuel pump.New hoses and belts. Brakes are good.New wipers. Tilt steering.Bucket seats.Pioneer CD player.Amplifier.4 Speaker set up.Dual exhaust.351 Engine (Modified 400)Edelbrock intake.Chrome Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner. Accel plug wires. Bronco front end.Massive tube steel bumpers front and rear.Custom chop on bed length.Extra fuel tank mounted under the bed. It is not connected. Here is the bad:The carb is crap! It's a Carter. I've tuned it, and tuned it, and...you get the idea...you have to run her with the choke slightly pulled out...Needs to be replaced or rebuilt... No rubber around the doors. The front sway bars are not connected. They never have been. I towed a 30 foot Layton with her no problem. The tires wore evenly and she drove straight so I never messed with them. Some bondo work on passenger side bed. One rust spot on driver's side bed. Holes on edge of bed. SEE PICS Minor dents on the hood.Slight bend on passenger front fender at the bottom from the original set of tires that were too big. SEE PICS A seeping leak from the steering box, it works FINE you just have to check your power steering fluid. No trailer hitch...I needed it for my Bus/Motor Home Conversion to tow my little truck. The bucket seats do not move back and forth. I'm 6 feet tall, 220lbs, and sit in her perfect. The speakers are kind of beat on (they are in the doors). They sound okay, but don't crank 'em up...No glass in the dash.Small ding in windshield.Paint is so-so. The heater fan does not work. A/C is present but not connected. Temperature gauge not connected.Gas gauge works, but says half full when full. The shocks are okay. Not great. The rubber on the tie rods is kinda crappy. Plenty of lubrication, but... SEE PICSNOT REGISTERED OR INSURED. A Trailer would be good. This truck is not for the faint of heart. She is a Man's Truck. She is a BEAST. I mean it. She's a rumbler. She is LOW GEARED.Top speed...70 MPH...MPG: 10...which would go up with the carburetor being rebuilt/replaced... She is NOT perfect... But DAMN! SHE IS A NICE TRUCK! A REAL RUNNER! It would not take too much more to make her cherry- cherry. I have the paperwork for nearly everything I’ve done to her in the last 8 years.I have done my best to describe everything. If I missed anything, it's NOT intentional. If you have ANY further questions...ASK ;) Want more pictures? ASK ;) I paid $4500 for her on 7-8-2003... That was before all of the work was done, except for the motor, which was done before I purchased it. Here we have a low start and a low reserve. Thanks for looking!
