Vehicle Detail

I purchased this bike from the original owner who was the owner of the Honda dealership I worked at in January of 1992. In my 18 years of ownership it has never let me down and served me well sport touring around the eastern U.S. It has an Ohlin's rear shock and Progresive fork springs. The seat is a Sargent as the OEM started to wear but was not torn. There is a mark on the fairing where it fell over on the left side. It also fell over on the right side while parked but I replaced the fairing panel. It has never been in a wreck. The front flush mount turn signals are from a Japanese VFR and not an after market add on. I have a complete maintenance history over the 18 years I have owned it and it boils down to normal maintenance. Yes it has 59,800+ miles on it and that may change as I am still riding it. The tires, Metzlers, are almost new and the chain and sprockets are in great shape with under 10,000 miles on them. The only engine part that has ever been changed is the water pump. I have never had any electrical problems. It has always had Amsoil synthetic oil in it and going 6,000 miles between changes it never moves on the dipstick. In the past 8 years of ownership I have not ridden it much, under 3,000 miles, and that is why I am selling it. I have 2 other street bikes, a 2007 Moto Guzzi Norge and a 1998 Honda PC800 I ride now and paying insurance and plates on this one is just an added expense. I know the price is on the high side but if you don't feel it is worth that then I will just keep it as I still think it is a great looking bike. It sat for almost 2 years and when I installed a new battery it started right up. I took it for a ride and it ran like I parked it yesterday. I stored it for the winter last November and I have not started it yet this year. I have no doubt it will fire right up and run fine. As of 3 years ago I know it would still hit red line in 6th gear, an indicated 155mph, actual 142 according to the magazines. The one picture shows it under the cover it lives under in the off season and when I am not riding it. Some of the pictures were taken last fall so the mileage in those pictures may show different mileage as I rode it since those pictures. There is a very old Eclipse tank bag on it shown in another picture that I will throw in if you want it. It used to be black but many miles have faded it. It was on the bike for almost all of the mileage with no marks on the tank from it. I will unwire the radar detector mount.I have the maintenance records in a Word document that I can convert to a PDF if you want to see them. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool. I keep it on a battery tender so I turned on the gas and hitting the starter a few times it fired up and ran perfect. It sure sounds great. It is cold out and the garage was closed so I did not really run it to running temp but all seems fine.
