Vehicle Detail
It's not perfect, in fact, it's kinda ugly in a beautiful way. It has a few bumps and bruises, but that gives it character. It's highly modified, but it's not a trailer queen. It's completely street legal, and handles well in town and on the freeway. My regular run from the East Bay to the Rubicon Trail is about four hours at 75 mph...dozens of times. Here are some highlights:1.6L 16valve EFI Suzuki engine (Sidekick).6:1 gears in the transfer case.Toyota axles, trussed in front, both armored, both with auto lockers.35" All Terrains with plenty of tread. It's lifted a bit over stock, more than a foot, body lift too, scissors both ends, SPOA.Mighty Kong T-case mount and full skid plate, gas tank skid plate.Front and rear Trail Tough tube bumpers with receivers.Winch/jumper outlets front and rear allows plug-in winch or 24' jumper cables front or rear.Warn winch on receiver plate can be used on front or rear bumper.Jumper cables also can connect to winch so it can be used on any vehicle with a receiver.Integra seats, GTI steering wheel.Full Roll-Cage (that really works).Full top in very good condition (Bestop).Power steering with hydro-steer, and yes, it's high steer.Removable doors, folding windshield (lexan). The rear deck has a big lockable carpeted plywood box that's ideal for camping gear, and it's big so coolers fit on top. It's a perfect truck, even if it is ugly. The truck has been unused since 2009. Has a few thousand miles on it since being built. The truck is turnkey. Get in and drive it home.
