1973 Ford Gran Torino wagon NO RESERVE bid it to win it ! dont regret you didnt later ! LOW LOW documented miles, Rust FREE AZ WAGON Original 351C 2v motor / Auto / PS / PDB / AC Original white paint outside w/ Tan inside. 48xxxx original documented miles on AZ title. This car was parked years ago under a carport here in Tucson and forgot about. We cleaned it up, put in new oil and cap & rotor and with fresh gas, it fired right up ! I think the plug wires are the original Motorcrafts PS fluid was low and has a mild leak (prob a hose) Tires are old, need new ones asap. I couldnt get the tailgate window to lower (but I can hear the motor run when I try) And have yet to been able to drop the tailgate yet. It is the dual use tailgate, can open out or down. Back area was used for carrying carpenter supplies back in the 80s and needs a good cleaning. ZERO RUST on the body or frame etc. (other then surface) Interior not that bad, showing some signs of age. New carpet would be a good start, but its very original and uncut up. Motor could use a good clean up and tune up but its again very unmolested and original. If you pulled up the carpet, youd probably find the build sheet. Pump the gas a few times, hit the key and the car fires up. Not sure if the choke is working, but once warmed up a little, its ready to go. With a tune up and carb rebuild and new tires, it could be a daily driver easily. Brakes and suspension feel good, yet soft like the tanks of their day. Original paint says : no previous hidden damage ! Its been a weekend only driver off and on the last 20 yrs. NO RESERVE w/ original Ford keys Interior: nice driver but showing its age in some areas. Still fun to drive around in and to local Cruze Nites. Would be an easy restoration. MAYBE make it a Starsky & Hutch type Wagon !!?? Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Car is super solid, doors etc all close well and tight for their age What you will see in the pics below is: Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. Obviously this is not a restored car Most of these cars were run into the ground and really USED up as you might expect them to be. This car flew under the wire and is stock as a rock. They are only original ONCE. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. Early Muscle cars like this restored back to the way it came off the showroom, have higher Values hands down. A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND 70s Wagon Car An ERA alot of us remember like it was just yesterday. Wally Wagon, Brady Bunch Mobile, call it what you want :) We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. This is a great car to restore 100% and would do so nicely. It is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets ! Original white paint, very dull and flat, but no bondo ! There you have it, probably The BEST represented Ford Wagon on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
