i have a 1956 chevy all aluminum body shorty stepvan . i'm not sure of the year but it has the v shaped dash that other chevy cars had so thats my best guess. i can't find a vin number anywhere on it so it comes with a bill of sale only , thats what i got when i bought it. i have all the keys for all the doors so thats a plus. i had planned to make a street rod camper out it but failing health has put an end to that dream. some one else had made a camper out of it at one time as you can see in the pics. the body has not been cut anywhere except for an old roof exhaust vent, which is uncommon in these old stepvans . there are a couple of cracked windows but they are all flat glass and should be no problem to replace, the 2 curved side pieces of glass are milky but undamaged which is very rare in these old vans. also this is the shortest body they ever made and they are very rare. the motor should run but there is a crack in the right exhaust manafold which can be welded for about 100.00 or better yet you could put headers on it for about the same money. i had planed to swap out the motor for one with a little more muscle. these are very cool old trucks no matter what your plans for it are. shipping is the responsibility of the buyer i will try to help from my end but you will have to make your own arrangements. i picked it up myself with a car hauler. feel free to ask questions and i'll do my best to answer. stepvan is sold with no reserve. all sales are final . good luck.
