If you’ve been wanting a vehicle that can go just about anywhere (4X4), haul seven people comfortably (3rd row, 7 seat belts, dual a/c and heat, Ford’s comfortable seats) and want up to 20 MPG on the highway (fuel sipping turbo diesel engine) and you are looking for the right price and options. It’s my last year made 2005 Ford Excursion Limited Turbo Diesel with DVD, read on for a full description. Mechanically this truck is just about as good as you get. I just had my Certified Diesel Technicians look over the truck top to bottom and found the EGR cooler was worn out so they replaced that and give this truck a clean bill of health. Starts up with no smoke, no smoke when cold or hot. No leaks underneath and no blowby, this vehicle was well cared for and it shows. The tires are a matching set of Michelins with 60% tread and they are wearing evenly. It drives very well, steering and brakes are tight with no wobble or brake pulse. Transmission shifts great and the fluid looks good. The undercarriage is dry and clean without unusual rust. Drive it across the country and back, it’s a good truck. Cosmetically this Excursion is well above average. I’m a very picky guy and this truck is very clean in my opinion. No paintwork ever performed and there is no current damage. A stone chips on the front bumper and a random one here and there and a light scratch is all you will find. All panels line up and the paint is clean. Just detailed front to back. Two owner since new and looks to have been garaged. The interior is the same way, very nice for the age and mileage. Seats, carpets, headliner and door panels are nice without wear out or major damage, The seats are heated and the leather is beautiful, no rips or cracks and it smells good inside as well, non smoker previous owner. This vehicle is equipped with factory DVD entertainment and I have three headphones and the remote to go with. All power options are working well except for the power mirrors, heat and a/c are working, spare tire and cover are intact. I have one key, two remote entry fobs and the original owners manuals to go with. Anyone would be proud to have this truck sitting in their driveway it's a solid 8 out of a perfect 10. Here is an opportunity to own a piece of Ford’s history that are getting hard to find in this price range for the last year, I have a low overhead operation so I don’t need huge profits to make a living, you are getting a great vehicle at an amazing price. Kelly blue book thinks I should be asking $26,900 for this vehicle retail and some of the other dealers around the country are asking this.
