Vehicle Detail
I bought this new about almost 4 years ago. I never rode it much. It has been stored indoors and I have had the oil changed 1 time as suggested after 500 miles by the dealer. Mileage is actual. It is in minty condition. I had the Honda dealer install a rack and larger footpegs as they suggested. Adult driven. No dings or scratches in gas tank. It is a beautiful motorcycle. The new ones for sale at the dealer look to be the same without changes. This is a large motorcycle so go to the dealer and sit on it before you buy it on auction. I am over 50 years old and at 5-11 my toe tips just touch the ground. It's for a younger guy or an older guy that is tall for the most part. It's sort of like getting on a horse. This is a cash sale. You hand me the cash and I hand you the pink slip. I bought this new about 5 miles away from where I live in 2007 I paid $6000 out the door plus more for extras. It runs like new because it is basically new and not even broken in yet. This engine has never been touched by a mechanic other than the 1 oil change for 500-1000 miles break in. The red color is rich and has no fading from the sun. It has rarely been outside. If you do not have the cash please do not bid. I will not take any payment other than Green US Cash in my hand in person. No Nigerian 419 scams please. No test rides. Even at the Dealer they do not do test rides. This motorcycle is as about as nice as you are going to get in this model. It was too big for me so I never rode it much. Take a look at my 11 year feedback for making accurate descriptions and not selling problems. I have all the paperwork that the dealer gave me when I bought it new. Also have booklets that came with it. If you want to look at this in person please schedule an inspection with me for this at a Honda Dealer at your cost. This motorcycle has 1100 miles on it and looks like what a M/C looks like that has 1100 and has been garaged. This is sold as is without a warranty. I need the cash first. The idea of shipping this to Montana and then having the buyer want his money back does not appeal to me. That is why I want mostly cash. I have 3 boxes which include new plastics that I bought from Honda to give the buyer. I thought this was going to be my final motorcycle purchase so I was worried about not being able to buy plastics that would fit ten years from now if that ever happened. . New Front Fender and two white left side covers in case you ever need them. About 1 month after I bought the motorcycle it finally sank in that I was too short for it. So think this over. Unless you are 6 feet in height or over it may not be the best city fit for you. On the other hand all of these dual sports made today are high off the ground. I do not think anyone makes one where the average man can plant both feet on the ground at a stoplight today. The clutch, shifting and brakes work easy on this. There is no tachometer and no kickstarter. More of a disguised big street bike cruiser that can do dirt if wanted. Hondas are built to last and you can always find a nearby authorized mechanic. In return I am offering any interested person who wants to pay any nearby Motorcycle Mechanic that is Authorized Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki to have this bike evaluated. You can do that all on your credit card and I will show up to that Dealer with this motorcycle. My goal is to seperate myself from those who want to insult my bike and then low ball me. If you are for real you should have no problem paying a Honda Dealer $100 out of your pocket to inspect this. I am retired and do not have to get the last $500 out of this bike. I would rather have peace of mind and sell it to somebody who is going to leave me a great positive. I have a lot of emails from those who tell me if you let me look and touch your bike I will consider your BIN price. I do not need any aggravation. Instead I ask you to pay any new Authorized Japanese Motorcycle dealer in Los Angeles to and have a mechanic tell you how great this is. I made a mistake a few weeks ago of letting my guard down with another ebayer who came over to look at another M/C I had listed that was a cream puff. I took a total time wasting. He wanted to know if I would deliver it, Take less if it did not sell and not report fees to dmv. This was after he touched every button that was possible and test rode it. At some point you just have to tell people to take a hike. I let my guard down because it was a clean looking white guy who looked like myself. I took a terrible beat down because I went against my own experience. I had these same guys show up 40 years ago when my Father would sell a Honda 750 with 500 miles on it. They would show up on repainted Honda 350s and just tire kick for 1 hour. Finally my Father would ask them are you a chicken and they would leave with their tail between their legs. This bike has less than 24 hours on it of running time. You are not going to find anything better on ebay. I have been on Ebay 11 years and know what is available. Read my reputation for past car and motorcycle sales. I buy toys with my retirement check and then sell them 3 years later on ebay. I waste money on depreciation but if you have nobody worthwhile for inheritance who cares. This bike is so clean you can eat off it. If you do not have the cash too bad -so sad. I apologize if I have offended any nice buyers on here unintentionally but you have to realize that I am in living in Hollywood California which is ground zero for the worst of grinders. I have to talk to L.A. people in a rude manner which they are accustomed too, otherwise they will get confused and attempt to tromp all over me. It's called good communication skills. I have lived in my house over 50 years and do not screw people on major purchases. I bought this new and never used it. It is too large for me and may be too large you as well. I suggest going to a Honda dealer near you and sitting on this same model before bidding. I don't see any point in telephone calls discussing the bike. There is really nothing to discuss. It feels effeminate and it is going to lead to a will you take $2000 now. There is no advantage on my end. Instead schedule an inspection on your credit card and give them the questions. The Japanese have a saying in business that the person talking is losing in any business transaction. They also have a saying that the "seller" who has a mint motorcycle like this with 1100 miles on it is the person in control. It's too my advantage just not to talk to anyone unless you are willing to pay for a dealer inspection and then your can talk to them and I will show them all my paperwork. Just call them up and give them your CC to charge and I will most likely show up if it is reasonably close and in Los Angeles. If I did not show you would get your CCC back. Time is running out. Please do not bid unless you have the cash. Do not high bid expecting to grind me down in person at time of transaction. You are not going to find another bike like this on ebay where the seller has almost 2000 transactions and 11 years on ebay. Instead you will find a Zero Seller that has no credibility and the license plate will not match the one originally issued by DMV. I get ebayers on here who tell me they will not bid on a bike unless they can see in in person and test it out a little. I understand all of that. The problem is these same people start offering you $2000 after they tip the motorcycle over on your font lawn. I have more to lose than you have to gain. If I end up taking $500 less at least I kept my sanity from being abused by the lookie lews and tire kickers. Instead put your money where your mouth is and have me take this to a mechanic at your cost. If you cannot do that maybe you do not have $4000 and we can avoid each other. If it does not sale I will just relist it at a lower price and have it End on a Sunday instead of the mistake in day I chose here. I am nice in person. If this bike does not sell because of my upfront rudeness in my attempt to chase away those who are not really going to buy it is no big deal. I do not have to get the last $500 out of it. I will just relist it at some time later at a lower price or just put in back in my garage for another year. I was thinking about buying a Vespa 300 with automatic transmission. I am too lazy to shift anymore. I am well paid retired Government Employee and even if it does not sell I still get your money every month. There is no reason for me to need to rip you off on a motorcycle since I rip you off every 1st of the month when I get my Govt. retirement check. There is no reason for me to be a pig or a double dipper by selling you something not as described, after all I am a protestant with some standards. The buyer of this will have to show up in person anyway so I do not know what there is to be scared of. If this is not as described you would just walk away anyway. It's not like you are locked into a legal binding contract. Just don't show up to chisel me down and we will get along great and you will buy a minty motorcycle. If this motorcycle sells I want you to come back in 2 weeks and recheck this sale. I want you to see the nice positive that I was given for this motorcycle sale. If you are a kid ask your Father how come this guy got a great positive when he said he knew better and could get a better deal somewhere else. I want all chicken buyers to suffer two weeks from now and to learn a lesson on what happens when you are too chicken to buy.
