Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. What you are looking at is a 1972 GMC Jimmy. This Jimmy is really in fantastic condition. A spectacular paint job, SUPER STRAIGHT body and NO RUST. Rockers, inner fenderwells, and rear quarter panels have been professional replaced. The Jimmy runs and drives perfectly, absolutely flawless. You have an exceptional chance to own this classic at an amazing price. See the description of receipts below. I am offering it for a price that makes me feel good, that I know is more than fair...actually, a great deal. Again, this thing is in amazing shape!!! It has a 350 engine with 4 barrel carburetor and Eldebrock intake manifold. Automatic transmission, power brakes and power steering. The Jimmy has been continuously garage kept for the last 6 years. The engine, transmission, transfer case, driveline, front axles, rear axles, differentials front and back, brakes, steering and suspension have all undergone a rebuild in the last 37,000 miles. The driveline which includes the axles and differentials were all rebuilt only 1400 miles ago. ALL of the mentioned items I have hard copy receipts from professionals to prove the work. It has a beautiful white pearl paint job with ghost flames. Black carpet with charcoal grey seats and black console taken from a 2001 Chevy. Both of the front seats are electric. The back bench seat also has the same fabric as the front. Of course, no holes or tears. All of the lights are functioning. This includes blinkers, tail lights, reverse lights, console lights and of course headlights. The gauge cluster is fully functioning with working speedometer, electric, gas and oil pressure. An aftermarket temperature gauge is mounted to the steering wheel. Windshield wipers work as well. The Jimmy comes with a professionally installed BestTop soft top with all hardware and fittings, black in color. It also comes with a full hard top, white in color. Please see photos. I have hardcopy receipts going back 14 years. These hard copy receipts total over $25,000. I do not have the receipt for the paint job, the new suspension, or wheels and tires. The wheels are polished American Racing Baja’s at $115 ea and 32 x 11.5 x 16 BFG @ $285 ea for a total of $1,600. Tires are all but brand new. I would say 95%. If I had those hardcopy receipts I would place receipt total at over $34,000. In the last 14 years, the truck has only been driven 37,000 miles. In the last 6 years, it has only been driven 1900 miles. This is documented by looking at the odometer reading on the many receipts I have and comparing it to the existing mileage. Often times in listings, you see the term “too much to list”. Well, if you are spending your hard earned money, it is kind of a cop out to say “too much to list”, so here it goes. 2011-New turn signal switch & harness $35 2011-Electrical & Rear wiring harness $396 2007-New valve cover and gaskets $287 2007-Alpine Deck, Amp, Speakers, and Sub $573 2007 or 1400 miles ago, full rebuild of front and rear differentials with 3:10 gears. New driveline $3,938 2006 or 1800 miles ago, new spark plugs, distributer cap/rotor, new radiator hoses, transmission flush, new belts, carb rebuilt $1665 2006-Carpet Kit $405 2006-BestTop soft top w/ professional install $1850 2006 or 1000 miles ago new gasket kit, water pump, harmonic balancer $910 2001 or 6,000 miles ago, rebuilt transmission and transfer case $1856 2000-New seals, full truck $550 1999-New exhaust $195 1999-New full suspension, front and rear leaf springs, shocks and dual steering stabilizer $1300-However, in 2008, the suspension was brought down to a 2” lift with new leaf springs. I do not have a receipt of that work. 1999-New rocker panels, quarter panels, doors, inner fender wells and body mounts $3,655 1998-Complete rebuild and update of all braking components, including ball joints and tie rods $1084 1998-New gas tank and trailer hitch $300 1998-New Superwinch Hubs $105 1997 or 36,500 miles ago, complete engine rebuilt $1540 1997-New motor mounts and crank shaft $425 1997-New carburetor and intake manifold $650 These don’t add up to $25,000, I wanted to list the notables. However, if you add up each and every receipt it is just at $25,200. Again, let me stress that I have the hard copy, original receipts for all of the listed items. All of this work was done by professionals, so this Jimmy is not an example of a hack job done by a garage mechanic. I can prove everything I have listed. I also can scan and email copies of receipts prior to purchase. As the truck sits right now, there are only two know issues. The horn does not work and the heater does not work. I believe the horn has a grounding issue. It just started to blare one day. I disconnected the horn. About a week later, I went to start the truck and it was dead. The horn was still connecting the circuit so I unplugged the relay. No more bleed on the battery. Once I disconnected the horn relay, my heater stopped working. Electrical…go figure. Please see the photos for the two tiny imperfections on the body. I have a factory roll bar I will include with the sale. The roll bar was taken from a 1972 Chevrolet Blazer. Holes to bolt the roll bar are preexisting on the chassis. Aside from figuring out the horn/heater, there is nothing else wrong with the Jimmy. I would rate the paint as a 9 out of 10. The vehicle is turn key. Use it as your daily driver, or take it out on occasion…either or, you will not be disappointed. Once again, engine, transmission, exhaust with headers, transfer case, torque converter, front axles, front differentials, drive shaft, rear axles, rear differentials, front steering, steering stabalizers, ball joints, body mounts, full suspension with leaf springs front and back, a complete brake rebuilt, inner fender wells, quarter panels, rocker panels, doors, HAVE ALL BEEN EITHER REPLACED OR REBUILT. I read some reviews on shipping companies. I have never used this company before but the reviews on Google are pretty good. This car will ship from Seattle, WA with drop off at their local shipping yard:http://www.nationwidetransportservices.com/ Please take a look at my feedback and bid with confidence. I have put quite a bit of effort into describing the vehicle. For additional questions, please feel free to email me with your phone number and I will happily return phone calls. This is the first vehicle I have sold on ebay and I want to go the extra mile to make sure it is a good experience. Reserve is set under 5 figures. After tracking these vehicles on ebay for over a month, the buy-it-now is a steal of a deal. The Jimmy is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing should it sell locally. Please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or comments. On Mar-16-11 at 12:55:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note, for the buy it now price, I will get the horn and heater fixed before delivery. This will require a bit of patience on the buyer as the Jimmy will not be immediately shipped. I would expect a 2 day turn around. Thanks On Mar-20-11 at 15:36:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks to everyone for the interest in the truck. I wanted to note that we will want to add a couple hundred miles to my timeline of mileage on the listing. The rain has cleared up for the last couple of days and I have been getting some "quality time" with the Jimmy out on the road!!! Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or comments. Thanks again, Adrian Parker 206-321-1847 On Mar-20-11 at 17:52:37 PDT, seller added the following information: On Mar-21-11 at 09:40:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Again, thanks for all of the great interest in the truck. It has been nice to talk with many of you on the phone. The reserve has been met, and again I wanted to thank everyone for the bids. Although the buy-it-now price was automatically removed once the listing reached the reserve, I will still keep my promise to fix the horn and heater should it trade through $13,500. Or, I am willing to discuss a deduct in price for the winning bidder to get the items fixed. Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or comments. Best, Adrian Parker
