Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Here I am again saying that this Jeep needs to go! I have reduced the starting price of this auction in order to ensure that the Jeep sells. Additionally, I have also included more pictures along with some of the questions past perspective buyers have asked. This vehicle is absolutely incredible. The jeep has a Fuel Injected Chevy Corvette engine and Ford F250 H.D front and rear axles (Dana 44 and Dana 60). It has a spring over axle conversion with a shackle reversal that gives the vehicle a perfect height (Clears 35s with lots of space) and tons of flex. Countless amounts of money and labor have been put into this Jeep in order to bring it to its current state. I am taking a significant loss selling it at this price. Some of the parts and features I can think of are: · 1990 Corvette V8 · Turbo 350 trans · Spring Over Axle · Shackle reversal · Slip Yoke eliminator · New AGR steering box · High strength drag and center link with 3/4 inch heim joints · New aluminum conversion radiator · 35’ Interco Truxus M/Ts · MSD distributor · MSD off road edition ignition (included not installed) · Rinolined Interior · Master Craft Seats front and rear · Custom front and rear bumpers · Huge Warn winch · Full width front Dana 44 H.D (76 F250 H.D) · Full width rear Dana 60 H.D (76 F250 H.D) · Rear Posi unit · Front Spool with new H.D unlocking hubs – this allows the vehicle to be driven on road with the spool · New Passenger side front axle shafts · Four Wheel Disc Brakes · New rear calipers and stainless steel brake lines · New Willwood brake proportioning valve. · Dodge 3500 master cylinder · Gen Right Hood Louvers · And much more that I am sure I am forgetting A common question I have been asked is whether or not the Jeep can be driven daily. The best response I can come up with is: the Jeep has been driven daily by me in the past. It really depends on the level of creature comforts you are looking for; as my girlfriend will definitely tell you, it is by no means a Cadillac. There is nothing majorly wrong with it and it just needs a small amount of t.l.c. to make it perfect. If you have mechanical know-how, time to tinker, or a buddy that is a mechanic, the Jeep will have no problem being driven every day. Because I am in school, I do not need a car and I no longer have time to wrench on it myself. A full list of everything that I can think of that the Jeep needs is: There is a passenger door latch that needs to be replaced and the windshield sprayers just need to be hooked up (the motor and the switch both work). I have a radio for the Jeep, but it isn't installed. I will include it with the vehicle. I just replaced the o2 sensor and the throttle position sensor, but that computer needs to be reset with someone who has an OB1 scanner. Without the computer being reset the Jeep runs great, but when it is cold out it takes a minute or two to warm up and run at full capacity. There is a small rip in the soft top, but gorilla tape has worked fine for over a year. The Jeeps speedometer doesn't work (common problem with the 231) and the rear pinion seal needs to be replaced. Other than that, I can't think of anything that is not working. I have fixed almost everything on the vehicle and there is nothing that prevents the vehicle from being driven every day. After I have listed all of the problems, I would like to say that the Jeep runs great. I am very sad to have to sell it, but I am transferring out of state to another college. The truck is currently registered in Vermont. It needs some minor work, but it has been a great back up vehicle, it drives well and is great in the snow! You must see it to believe. Buyers can also feel free to email me at sampizer@gmail.com if that is easier. I want to make sure that prospective buyers are fully informed. Please just make sure to identify yourself as I have gotten lots of scam emails. Thanks for your interest. Sam
