The car is solid and original. It is not a car which has been built from a shell or basket case. It has been taken care of since it was new and has low mileage All original floor pans and even the spare tire well is solid with only slight surface rust shown in pics The interior is original and very nice which is a testament to it being well taken care of Pictured are four maintenance receipts which total $2,174.00 which were performed 1756 miles ago which includes a rebuilt engineReceipts also show actual mileage as 63,588 with a speedometer replacement due to noise in the original speedometer This VW is fun too drive and reliable. I would feel comfortable driving anywhere anytime in this car Starts at the first turn of the key with no smoke and has crisp acceleration Transmission shifts fine with no problems Good tires Car brakes and tracks straight No issues to the car Very enjoyable classic car to drive and will be a fun and reliable ride for someone The bad: Back edges (only the very edge) of door panels have come unglued and will need to be glued back down (shown in pics) Couple of rust bubbles starting on the lower rear edge of the driver’s door (shown in pics) Driver’s rear fender has been repaired and repainted as it was bumped into. This repair could have been done better (shown in pics) The bumpers need replacing due to rust which is common on older VW'sThere are small chips in the paint like you find on most any vehicle. You have to look hard to see them. The State of Alabama does not issue titles on any vehicles older than 1975. Car will be sold with bill of sale, and I do have the Florida title where the car came from previously. Do not hesitate to ask any questions.I am listing with no reserve and a very reasonable starting price considering the car and the work which has been done to it.
