selling this vehicle for a friend of mine, it was his aunts car and she recently passed, she was 95. i don't have a ton of info on the details of the car, but i do believe she is the original owner and that the car was last driven in '02. the clock shows just under 52k, not sure if it rolled, but that's what it says. had the car flat bedded to my shop, where i checked the oil, cleaned the points, put the jumper box on it, 2 squirts of ether and the car started right up!! i did not let it run to long because of the age of the fuel, but it didn't smoke or knock! trans. seemed to engage thru all the gears smoothly. the interior has a few seam seperations from age and is a little musty from sitting, and there is rust in the lower qtrs. and in the trunk area. a few small spots in the other areas of the vehicle, but to be honest with you, the car is really not that bad! i never looked under neath the car, so i don't know what's going on under there. just to be straight, i'm selling this car as either a parts car or a car in need of total restoration. don't forget it has been sitting in a garage for almost 10 years, so your not going to just jump in it and drive it without going thru the entire car first, like tires, brakes, tune-up, flush fuel system, and other fluids. the car is being sold as-is with no warranty what so ever. what you see is what you get. if you have any indecisions on this car, please do not bid. feel free to ask me any questions, and i will answer them as honestly as i can. buyer will be responsable for shipping. pay pal or cashiers check only. car will not be released until payment is made in full and funds have cleared. On Mar-11-11 at 12:28:32 PST, seller added the following information: so i took the car out of the storage container a little while ago after it stopped raining and added some more pics of the rusted areas because of all the emails i've recieved. they are pretty much self explanitory. the rockers and doors are solid as a rock, as well as around the front and rear windows, the floors are pretty solid with no visible rust through, driver fender is shot, and the 2 rear qtrs. will need to be replaced as well as the wheelwells and the rear valance. that is if you decide to restore it, or it would be a good donor car if you decide to go that route. the dash and pad are mint and if it didn't have the 2 ripped seams on the top of the seat edges, the interior would be incredible for the age with the exception of the headliner. looks like mice got into the car and nibbled the headliner! oh, yeah, i'm going with 1968 ,because of the lights in the fenders and qtrs, as well as on the hood. again, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS ON WHAT YOU ARE GETTING, I'M STICKING TO MY GUNS ABOUT SELLING THIS CAR AS A PARTS CAR OR A CAR THAT NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION. thanks again and like i said if you have any questions, please just ask.
