Amazing low mileage Ford Elite. A real beauty! This beautiful car was purchased from the original owner in 2001. The elderly lady who previously owned the vehicle reportedly only drove it to the grocery store and back home until she was no longer able to drive. This Elite has always been stored in a garage and had just under 14k miles when we purchased it. The paint is not original as it was repainted to match the previous owners second vehicle. The original paint color is similar to current and can be viewed on the underside of the deck lid (see photos). The "Baby Bird" (as in baby Thunderbird) as the car was known, was extremely popular in its day and they were typically driven into the ground which is why it is so difficult to find them in good condition. This is a very "special" Elite in that it is extremely low mileage and in great condition which is shown by many of the factory original hoses, belts, decals, etc. The interior is also in excellent original condition with plush carpet, no tears in the seats, no fading in the interior or cracks in dash. Wood grain on the instrument cluster, glove box, and within the trim is in excellent condition. You will be hard pressed to find an Elite in better condition!!! This Elite drives great with power steering and solid brakes. Over the last ten years, we've only driven this car on special occasions and to various car shows. It definately turns heads and gets compliments where ever it goes......
