Click on the images below to watch the videos!!! Here we have a 1966 Mustang. The most iconic American classic car in the world. This Mustang runs and drives great. Gets all the looks and thumbs up! Feel cool no matter where you’re at. This is what America is about! That v-8 sound and a bright red Mustang. That’s as patriotic as apple pie! Now I know what you’re thinking, “What about the car??” Alright here is the tech stuff: Engine: 289 original, runs great, has good power. A 4bbl Edelbrock intake and carburetor has taken the place of the old 2bbl. Transmission: 3 speed manual, shifts good, no issues. Car runs and drives good even at highway speeds. Has plenty of power. Runs cool on even the hottest days. Windshield wipers work good. Lights all turn on and off. Radio works good. Pony Interior in excellent condition, no rips or tears. Paint is shiny, does have a handful of scratches and small paint chips in various places on the car. No rust on body panels. There is a very small amount of rust on the underside. (a hole about the size of a silver dollar on the drivers side rear foot well, and the rear frame mounts have some scaling on them….There might be some other places if you get your microscope out. This is what I have noticed while under the car.) Has a new trunk mat. Doors open and close Tires are round. Turns right and left. Preflight instructions: -Cold starting instructions: One pump when it has been sitting for a few days and it starts right up. -When driving in stop and go traffic, the carb may load up and you will need to rev it once in a while to clear it out. (Who doesn’t want to rev it up!!) -Windows need a little help to go up. -Oil pressure gauge not working. I haven’t looked into this, engine sounds and runs great, I have no need to be fearful. -Horn doesn’t work, I haven’t looked into this. -Drum brakes, plan your stops accordingly….. (I do offer a disc brake upgrade for this car and some other goodies, for extra $$. Call me and we can talk prices.) -Power steering….well, “Armstrong steering” it’s as powerful as your arms are…lol (if you didn’t get my joke, there is no power steering on this car. Again, I do offer power steering if you want to add it on here) -you will need to get the carb and timing re-adjusted when you purchase the car. I am in Denver, CO, 5280ft above sea level. I am very familiar with international inspections and this car should pass all of them. I do reserve the right to remove the auction if sold locally. If the car has reached the reserve then I WILL NOT take it down. The car WILL BE SOLD ON EBAY if reserve is met. (and no I am not going to tell you the reserve…bid to what you are willing to pay. I am open to offers, no lowballers or jerks. This is a good car and I am in no hurry to sell it.
