Up for consideration is a very nice 1987 Mustang LX with the 5.0L V8 and the police interceptor package. This vehicle is an ex-state trooper car from Utah and is in very good condition. This car does not appear to have ever been wrecked and was well maintained throughout its life. She still has operational blue strobes in the windshield and package tray and the shotgun sack in the front of the back seat. This is by far one of the fastest Mustangs we have driven and she runs and drives extremely well. The 5.0L H.O. motor runs smooth and is extremely muscular, the transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch is strong. This would be a great car for someone who wants a very fast little sleeper that requires no additional "hopping up." The body is in excellent shape with only one small area that's beginning to rust in the driver rear quarter panel behind the rear wheel. We have photographed this area to show how minimal the repair will be. This is a small area of concern and will be an easy fix. The interior is in very good shape, with all switches, knobs, lights, and the factory stereo working as they should. These V8 mustangs have become quite popular with the performance crowd due to their great handling and availability of performance and replacement parts. These cars are becoming increasingly difficult to find in unmolested condition, and this car would make a great investment for anyone who appreciates America's favorite pony!
