Beautiful 1988 Honda TRX 250R. It will be hard to find one this clean, and this original !! Original plastics, original Seat cover, Etc. Virgin cylinder & head (Never Ported or milled). I am the second owner, and have owned it for Nine Years. It has been well taken care of, and maintained as it should have been. When I first purchased the quad, it was on its second piston, but stock bore on the cylinder, and still had its original clutch. About six months ago, I went through the bike, and I will list below exactly what was done, and put into the Quad. I have run about six tanks of gas through the quad since all of the work was performed. Bored cylinder to first size over, installed new wiseco piston, rings, and rod bearing, Barnett clutch, installed New Trinity Stage 1V pipe and silencer, new uni two stage foam filter, & also performed the clutch (cable) update, and of course re-jetted for the pipe. Below are the items currently on the quad that I know are not original. Twist throttle, Handlebars, grips & clamp, and Trinity Stage 4 Pipe. (I do have the original pipe, silencer, and plastic airbox suction tubes removed to install the pipe.) ****************************This quad will be sold with standard dirt tires, the paddles to not come with the quad. If you would like photos, I will be happy to send them.************************ I have the California title(Pink slip), and Green Sticker, it is currently registered and up to date. The quad runs excellent, all of lights work, and is in great overall condition. Here are the items that I know of that are not perfect/great condtion. Seatcover has a few cracks on the back side, and a 2" split on the left hand side (See pics 9 & 10) It also has a crack on the top side of the right hand fender. He drilled a few small holes in the plastic, and then ran a piece of wire through it so the crack would not get bigger. This was done by the original owner (See picture # 8). The plastics have a few surface scratches, and the front white sticker is peeling off in a few small spots. The frame and cases have normal case/boot wear, and the front A-arm paint has a few rust spots. The straps on the nerf bars needs to be replaced, and the right hand foot peg is bent a little. For being 23years old, the bike is in fantastic condition. Remember the seat cover, frame paint, plastics still shine !!! It is ready to ride, and should be a great bike for someone. I hate for it to go, just too many toys, and not enough time. I will ship the bike in the continental United States, for my cost on the freight, and shipping supplies, or you can set up your own freight. I will not accept Paypal for this transaction.
