1987 GMC SIERRA 1500 V-8 LOWERED SHORT BED SHARP TRUCK ***1987 GMC SIERRA 1500 DEEP DARK BLUE SHARP TRUCK*** ***POWERFUL 5.0 L ENGINE --- MILD CAM --- HEADERS WITH 3 INCH PIPES*** ***LOWERED 4 INCHES IN FRONT --- 6 INCHES IN REAR --- RUNS DRIVES GREAT*** This is a 1987 GMC Sierra 1500 short bed pickup in very dark blue paint accented by new chrome bumpers. This truck was bought by the owner's son in 2001. The body was repainted the dark blue. Tires are almost new with only about 3K miles on them. The wheels are 8-inch rally sports with spinners. The engine is a 305/5 liter that was completely rebuilt about 20K ago. It is fuel injected with headers going into 3-inch pipes that sound really great. The truck runs and drives fine. The owner is downsizing and needs to get rid of this truck. Everything works on it except the air conditioning which needs a compressor. It has a State of Virginia safety inspection sticker that is good until the end of October. You can hop in this truck and drive anywhere. Body is straight and a dark blue that looks black unless it is in the sunlight. Chrome bumpers are new. Bed and tailgate are in very good shape. P255X70X15 BF Goodrich tires are mounted on 8-inch wide rally sport wheels. It was lowered 4 inches in front with spindles and 6 inches in the rear. Sharp looking front end - grill is billet aluminum Tailgate has GMC embossed on the driver side. It has a sliding back glass that can be opened. Interior is blue with factory bench seat. It has power steering, power brakes and tilt. It has full instruments and all of them work except clock. The truck also has two gas tanks, one on each side. Factory bench seat It has all the seat belts Instruments - engine runs plenty of oil pressure - engine was off when the photo was taken Climate controls and Sony AM/FM/CD radio Sierra Custom trim - glove box has original owner's manual Dash has a cover that was not glued so the dash pad could easily be replaced Area behind the seat Headliner and sun visors Driver door panel is missing a piece of trim the owner has. You can see the stainless trim needs to be glued or replaced. Passenger door panel Engine is a 305/5 liter V-8 that was completely rebuilt about 20K miles ago. It starts right up and sounds great. Engine has black Chevrolet valve covers and air cleaner. Truck is fuel injected. When the machine shop rebuilt the engine they added a mild performance cam and kit. Power disc brakes Headers go into 3-inch exhaust with one converter and one performance muffler with two exits. AC compressor needs replacement. It has power steering and newer radiator Chevy valve cover and header It has all the AC equipment Underside of hood It's ready to drive to its new home Truck was bought new in Franklin, Virginia Here is the original owner's manual The truck was lowered 6-inches in the rear - you can see the notch kit installed on the frame above the rear axle. Here is the other side and the exit for the exhaust.
