Up for auction is this green metallic 1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV, Its got a 2000cc four cylinder engine in it, I'm letting this thing go for the scrap price at my auctions starting bid"minus my seller fees that is"I paid $850.00 for it about 6 to 7 years ago, but never did anything with it and its just sat ever since. It ran when I first purchased it but it couldn't go into 1st gear so at the very least I would assume there was a linkage problem ? or the transmission could even need to be rebuilt, I'm in no way claiming to be an expert nor can I give mechanical diagnostics over E-bay, hence why I'm selling it so cheap merely at scrap price,it hasn't been started in about 5 years or so either and its got a cracked windshield and some rusty body cancer spots and some dings as well, most seams to be present under the hood as for as I can tell " like I said it did run" but I'm not making any guarantees, minus the windshield all the rest of the glass is good, and the "pleatherish" seats and interior are in GREAT! shape and I'm sure they could be pulled and sold for several hundred dollars at least by them selves, but I would prefer not to do that to this car and hopefully see it go to someone who is a bit more of an Alfa Romeo enthusiast than I and of whom is actually going to put the time and effort into revamping this retro 70's rally sports car back into pristine condition. Also due to my failure at locating my title I'll be forced to sell this as a lost titled vehicle. Buyer to pay all shipping and/or transportation cost(s) associated with the purchase of this vehicle.
