Vehicle Detail
1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe Model B "Hot Rod". This is an original ALL STEEL BODY CAR! The car was originally purchased in 1958 (see pictures) by my father however he had to sell it in 1960, then purchased it back in 1974. My father restored the car himself from 1978-1980 with all orginal period or earlier parts. The car is powered by a 327 corvette small block with a turbo 400 transmission, 4 wheel drum brakes lot's of chrome, no rust, but some pitting and I believe a ford rearend. The car is cutom painted yellow (80's) with custom pinstriping with brown leather tuck and roll interior has (3) Stromberg Carbs (2) barrell, Edelbrock Manifold and Vertex Magnito. Car has leaf spring suspensionin the front, rear stabiIizer bars and air shocks in the back. I recently had the carbs rebuilt 2008, as well tuned up and had pushrods replaced. Car has original American Dish mags paint shows age and there are some scuff marks, chipping with the most noticeable in the left rear (should see in the picture) small pressure dent on rear left side, fenders were custom made. Interior is in good condition with no rips only modertae wear, SW gauges and a Hurst shifter. Car is petina but runs well, last registered in 2004, however it has been in a non-op status, could use new tires (original from 1978) however drives nice and has been to many Andy's Hot Rod Picnics (CA) over the years. If you are looking for an original 32' with a history back to the 50's this is your car. I'd be happy to answer any questions, car belonged to my dad it just needs a good home he was a member of the Roadrunners of Marin and the Sleepers car clubs back in the 50's & 60"s. Thanks for looking! Not looking to trade.
