This 58-61 Bug Eye Sprite originally from the U.S. is in need of a major restoration or could be used for parts (for the right person with the right shop it is doable). Was bought as a restoration project about 3 years ago but had other projects on the go and never got to it. Now I'm getting ready to downsize and retire and it must go. I hope someone will see the value in it. A completely restored Bug Eye can go for 18k to 25k. Pictures show the front end sitting on the back end of the car and there are three doors that come with it and also an extra cowel front end piece.For those that aren't familiar with these cars it is a one piece steel front end which is original. This is a complete body with doors, front end and suspension. No engine,transmission,dash or windshield. However all these parts are readily available except of course the front end which is probably the most valuable part. The body is rough and has surface rust but it has been garage kept for the time I have owned it. It should be blasted or dipped again then epoxy primed to preserve it. It would then be ready to restore with no worries of invasion during the restoration process. I have no registrations papers, and it would be purchased as is where is.
