GORGEOUS 1966 CADILLAC DEVILLE CONVERTIBLE NO RESERVE!!! Up for sale with NO RESERVE is a CLEAN CALIFORNIA RUST FREE 1966 CADILLAC DEVILLE CONVERTIBLE with 86,022 original miles!! This car runs and drives great with NO ISSUES AT ALL! Within the last 5 years both the original 429 V8 engine and transmission have been COMPLETELY REBUILT along with a new EDELBROCK 650CFM carburetor installed. This is a factory A/C car however the A/C Pump no longer exists. ALL the other necessary A/C components appear to be there. Brakes works EXCELLENT and have been redone within the last year. This Cadillac STOPS ON A DIME and rides INCREDIBLY SMOOTH. Shocks and suspension are fantastic. New dual exhaust system with GLASSPACKS and CHROME TIPS coming out the back underneath the bumper. Sounds great! REAL CADILLAC WIRE WHEELS with GOODYEAR Tires on all four corners. NEW BLACK PAINT JOB. This is not a show quality paint job however a VERY NICE driver quality paint job that shines well. All the chrome is in decent shape with only some imperfections on the rear bumper. If you are up close it looks like slight pitting however the chrome on the bumper is smooth to the touch. The chrome trim molding around the fender wells is off right now but is in great shape and is included with the car. The passenger side chrome spear has a small crack. All the glass is in GOOD CONDITION all the way around. The interior is in nice shape overall with only a few minor imperfections and some cracking on the original dash pad. Power locks and power windows all work. Tilt and telescoping steering column works flawlessly. All the lights, turn signals, and electrical work great. Even the ORIGINAL CLOCK WORKS! Power seats function perfectly. The gas gauge is intermittent. Sometimes it works perfect sometimes not. The heater is not hooked up and the dash lights are not coming on and could use a new bulb however the courtesy lights work excellent as well as the brake lights and backup lights. Power Antenna goes up no problem but just recently has stopped going down when you shut the car off. NEWER MERCEDES BENZ style canvas cloth convertible top with a rear GLASS window. Power top motor works but I have been using it manually. It has been like that since I have owned the car. The convertible top frame needs a slight adjustment on the driver side since it is currently causing a misalignment of the window. There was a section on the passenger side that has been patched and is approximately 2" long. You can barely tell and it has no effect on the use of the top whatsoever. Included with the sale is the ORIGINAL JACK and plastic bumper fillers. I have done my best to describe this car to the best of my knowledge. It is an EXCEPTIONAL car that won't leave you broken down and fires up every time. Everywhere you go people look your way and give you thumbs up. The rear passenger ashtray lid is missing, $15-20 for a nice used one. The rear package tray area is missing that piece of black vinyl so it's showing the trunk area and signs of the cars original red paint. I got a quote to put the vinyl piece in there for $50. I would do new rubber around the trunk and the rubber that goes up the side of winshield that meets with the front quarter windows, I have not priced doing that. I would replace the tires in the near future but thats up to you. I would have had the car body better prepped and blocked out then reprimered for a black paint job since I was looking for a perfect show quality paint job. I would have the carpet and cardboard panels in trunk pulled out and cleaned and then paint black under trunk lid on rubber molding part showing signs of original red, also black paint is thin and kind of transparent on bottom of trunk lid showing a little red through it. It's missing the deville emblems on rear quarter panels. All other known issues are listed in the eBay listing. I don't have any pictures that can show any of the above things so you will just need to go off my description and see pics in listing. I want everyone that is looking to purchase this car to know 100% everything about it before bidding and make it clear to please not bid unless 100% serious. This is a super solid 100% rust free California Cadillac Convertible that was bought site unseen hoping for a show car but I understand that im going to have to pay $25,000-35,000 for one, this is a great entry level driver/cruiser that gets compliments everywhere it goes.
