1964 MGB Roadster California dry car This is one of the early Models with pull Handles on the doors. The car was parked in a dry Garage on blocks in 1987 and unused untill this week. Over the last few months I have had the following fitted:- New Mohair Top with a foldable frame $1050, Car retrimed with factory Trim Kit $1650, New Carpets $385, New Brake hoses $150, New Hoses to the water system $75, New Coil and Ignition System $120, New Engine mounts $85, New lights and lens's all round inc Headlamps $200, Wire Wheels stripped and repainted then fitted with 4 New white wall tires $830, New rubbers on door windows & piller $55. I think thats about it, all these items have been completed. I took the car out Yesterday for its first trip in 24 years and ran like a dream. The body work is in good condition with excellent floors and rockers. All the usual MG rust areas are in good order, the paint is not new but still has a good shine to it, look at pictures. This car is not a restored show winner, although it would be a great car for somebody that wants to make it a show car with little more than a good paint job. Everything else is in good condition or New. Or you could just use it as it is for many years of fun Driving and with Gas prices the way there going 25-30 MPG sounds good.
