Hello there! Up for auction is my 1997 GMC Sierra Club Cab Pickup Truck. 2 door model, no 3rd rear door. Sirius Satellite radio is installed and included with the truck. (all you will need is your own subscription to Sirius) Comes with tilt wheel, cruise control, 4 speed automatic with overdrive. It has the 6' bed with bedliner and a shell cap. It has a Vortec V-6 gas engine which gets about 24 hwy and 15 city. It is very clean inside and out. It has a sun visor, hood visor, chrome handles and chrome gas door. 4WD works good. 2 tires 90%. Newer brakes and rotors front, newer brakes rear, and I have 2 extra rear drums and 2 extra front rotors to go with truck. New plugs, wires, dist cap. Newer Battery. It has a ball hitch on the bumper, but no reese hitch. I bought the truck 2 years ago (at 162,000 miles) from a local dealer. The carfax shows the truck was from eastern pa for most of its life with one owner. I use 5w30 synthetic oil in this and all of my engines. It hasn't used a drop of oil, and the oil gauge reads 60lbs warmed up. This engine is going to go to half a million. And now, the (not so) bad: (1)Front seat is torn where driver sits, but I have a new seat cover on it that goes with the truck. see pics. (2)A/C compressor not belted up. In the time i have had this truck, I never fooled with it. could be no good, or it could be that they just put a smaller belt on, for whatever reason. I don't like A/C anyway, so I never investigated it. (3)Hard to see in pics but the bottom of cab on both sides is starting to rust/bubble up (common for this body style), but still way good enuf for PA state inspection. (sticker is good till June 30, see pic) maybe in the fall or next spring you would have to do some bodywork to those 2 areas. wheelwells are rust free, as are the rocker panels. the whole truck is rust free except the bottom of the cab as mentioned above...(4) two tires about 30%. see pics. Spare is mounted on the front driver side, aluminum rim and tire go with the truck, they are in the bed, see pics. I have one good tread(the spare)on the front, and one good tread(studded snow tire)on the rear. Hey? who can afford 4 tires all at once? I was going to buy 2 more this month but I found another truck I want, see below.(5) The plastic accessory side window shields need taken off/ replaced, 1st year of ownership i slipped cleaning the snow off of windows and fell against it,and it was so cold out part of it snapped off. then this year i slipped and fell against the other one. Darnit! Can't have nuuthing! (6) (sometimes) the turn signal flasher ticks for no reason, but the turnsignals work as they should, so I never fooled with it. (7) Fuel gauge is all over the map, so you have to keep track with pencil and paper.(sensor is in tank i believe and i was not about to take the tank down so the fuel gauge would work, you dig? ) Aside from these few VERY minor things, THIS IS A SOLID TRUCK. VERY CLEAN, DEPENDABLE GOOD RUNNER. the only reason I am selling is because I found a 2wd ford f350 diesel that i want to buy, and I need your cash to buy it.and the parking space otherwise I would keep this GMC forever!!. and if it doesn't sell at auction, I just might forget the f350 diesel and keep this GMC forever. You see, I had this truck listed on ebay as a classified ad last week. Nuthin but tire kickers. Should read 182,000 not 162,000. which means I have had the truck for about 20,000 miles, with the total still at 202,650.sorry about that.
