Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1969 Mach 1 Fastback Mustang with a 351W stock 2 barrel. I did not wash or clean the car up at all for the pictures. I have owned this car since 1980 and I garaged parked it approx in 1985 to fix up. All I did was get new carpet for it and install over the old carpet. The car ran when I parked it but that was when they still sold regular gas. The car has 2 small dings one in the passenger door and the other in the passenger quarter panel right beside/behind bumper. See pictures for details. One rust spot 2-3" right beside the tail light. Otherwise the body is very straight. Car has factory manifolds, FMX Automatic transmission and factory power steering. Interior is in good condition. The head liner is apart at one seam and has 2 small straight tears. Factory black seats with red stripe. Drivers seat latch is broke. Hinge is messed up on the passenger side of the hood. Makes it hard to open and close. I believe this car has matching numbers but I am not positive. It has the same engine in it that was there when I purchased it. Car is being sold As Is. I have the passenger door key but not the trunk key or ignition so not sure what is in the trunk. I will keep looking for the keys. This was my baby back in high school which was pretty nice for girl. It hasnt been hot rodded since I owned it I believed in driving slow and looking mean, ha ha. I hope that someone gets the car that can fix it up like it deserves. I know I never will be able to so best of luck in the bidding. Call or email me for questions and I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Cell 615-670-8597 or 615-649-2569 leave a message if no answer. I work 10.5hrs Monday thru Thursday. The car is located near Gallatin, Tn. and I highly suggest you try to take a look at it in person to see how nice the condition is. This would be a beautiful car restored. $500.00 nonrefundable deposit on winning bid is required within 24hrs at end of auction. Total amount must be paid within seven days of end of auction by cashiers check or cash in person. Pickup and Transportation is the total responsible of the winning bidder and is not included in the winning bid price. After full payment is paid and funds verified arrangements will need to be made for pickup. I will not be responsibe for anything left over 7 days after funds have been verified. You may leave the car here for up to 30 days after payment has been verified but I will not be responsible. On Feb-26-11 at 18:45:53 PST, seller added the following information: This car was red and painted black for me before I purchased it. I may or may not have the original radio cant find it. It may be in the trunk. If I find it I will let it go with the car. I also believe there may be pitting on one of the door windows. I will add stuff as I think of it.On Mar-01-11 at 18:43:54 PST, seller added the following information: I replaced the original door panels in this car with the 1970 mustang door panels of a car that I owned back then. I checked the doorplate on this car and it says 63A. I'm not sure what this means??? So this may or may not be a Mach 1. The dash that was in the car when I purchased it says Mach 1 and I was told that was what it was. Got some feedback from an ebay member that thought it may not be. I know its a 1969 Mustang that is in great shape for its age. Just trying to be honest here. Also the floor panels feel firm I havent pulled any carpet to check underneath may try to get to that Friday. It also has the console in the middle. Any questions just ask. Oh yea and there are actually 2 dings in that passenger door. See pictures for details. On Mar-01-11 at 19:17:55 PST, seller added the following information: This is a 351 H-code from the factory. On Mar-02-11 at 17:25:15 PST, seller added the following information: The back cover is missing from the passenger seat.On Mar-03-11 at 16:34:12 PST, seller added the following information: This car has the low reserve price of $6500.00 so the last bidder over $6500.00 will get the car!!!!
