1967 VW Beetle. It spent over the last 2 decades in Florida where I purchased it from. I drove it all the way back to NJ with no problems. Was a show winner in 06 and 07 (trophies will be included with car). It is in GREAT shape but not perfect. I purchased it in 2007 and have had it maintained by a reputable Classic VW dealer in NJ. It has been garaged since the day I got it and hasn't seen snow or rain. Pans are in good shape, no rot or rust. Seats are in great shape (no rips or stains) roof liner is excellent, carpet is in excellent shape, and the dash is uncut. Brand new Flat4 roof rack put on a few months back. I put on 165 tires and when I purchased the car it had 145's on it. So when you make a really sharp turn it rubs slightly. It's a real head turner, and I get many compliments on the car. I don't know much about cars, so detailed questions about the engine and stuff I will not be able to answer. Please come see it and check it out yourself! I am only selling it because I moved and lost my extra garage spot. I wish I didn't have to sell, but can't afford keeping it in storage right now. I purchased it for over $8k in 2007, but this auction has NO RESERVE! The few things that I know are wrong with it:1. Windshield wipers recently stopped working2. Radio didn't work when I purchased it, I never bothered to fix it.3. Back passanger light is out. I was told these are very minor fixes, but I just don't have the time or energy to do this stuff right now. I will help with shipping anywhere, but is your responsibility. $1k deposit due by paypal within 24 hours of auctions end. If you don;t intend on paying...please don't bid. No rips or anything to note. One last thing forgot to mention is the antenna is off the car. I have a new one to install and will include it with the sale ( The antenna was taken off in order to fit the car cover properly. And I misplaced the antenna, and thats why there is a new one).
