UPDATE: THE CAR HAS BEEN REPAIRED. PRICE HAS BEEN ADJUSTED. A/C DOES NOT WORK. We are selling a 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300SD. The body and interior of this car is in very good condition for its age as you can see in the pictures. Transmission shifts well. This car is being sold as-is. No returns. The car was garage kept for most of its life. The car has a sunroof. There are no water leaks in any of the windows or sunroof. It has four decent tires with a lot of tread but has some dry rot from sitting. She comes with a Sony cd player and a disc changer with remote. There are some minor dings and scratches. The headliner is in good condition. Pick-up only. We reserve the right to end auction at any time. This vehicle is for sale locally. The engine does run, but one of the cylinders is losing compression. I took off the injectors and hard fuel lines to work on, but I can easily replace, or just give them to you. I drove it 30 miles to get it home so it will run, just not run well. She smokes and takes a while to get up to speed. This is not a car to drive around at this time, she will need engine work. This was supposed to be a biodiesel project for me but I just don't have the time I thought I did. The paint is in fair condition although when buffed shines brilliantly. The interior is mostly in very good condition especially the passenger and back seats. Driver's seat, some parts of the dash, and driver's door all need attention. The SD model is the luxury diesel, so she's very loaded. The chassis (W126) is refered to as "bullet proof" because of its rigidity and toughness.
