You are bidding on a very nice VOLKSWAGEN VANAGON WESTFALIA WOLFSBURG EDITION. This vehicle was purchased at auction and now has a clear title.Originally from Arizona and the folks moved to Ill then Kentucky. (Since the initial purchase at auction the following items have been fixed or repaired.1.New "brain"(ECU) for the fuel system.As well changed the plugs in it,repaired the hose at the bleeder valve for the cooling system.($300.00 total 02-14-11)2. Brakes checked and fluid replaced.3.Cleaned inside and out and has a clean odor inside in spite of being sitting idle for five years. Muffler needs attention. As you can see from the pictures the hub caps are,well only three and in very bad condition. One set of scratches on front passenger side also on the back there are a two small thumb sized dents that show a bit of rust so they will need attention,please see the pictures as they are a big part of the description. There is a refrigerator inside this vehicle and it does run when the vehicle is running but I do not know the status of the auxillary battery so count on it not being up to being of a serviceable nature.. The cloth on the camper pop-up has two small holes in it that should be an easy fix. There is a front and rear AC on this vehicle. The seat in the middle folds down to make a bed. The back cabinet storage area has some extra curtains inside of the doors and I am not quite sure what they fit. Included also are some records of tires and some parts that needed to be replaced and a copy of ROBERT BENTLEY VOLKSWAGEN VANAGON OFFICIAL FACTORY REPAIR MANUAL and ABOUT fifty printed pages from the internet in a nice binder full of Q&A'S from the official VW site-this is a nice addition to have with you. Basically this is my first vehicle sale on ebay and I INSISTED that the owner take this to a reputable mechanic and have it gone through and fix whatever was wrong with it.I am selling this van for my neighbor but I will be the contact person for it if you have any questions I will supply you with my cell number so you can make an informed bid on this great vehicle.Neighbor says "SELL IT"!!!! so he asked me to list it for him both locally and on ebay motors. This vehicle runs and has a lot of pep but it has been sitting for five years so it should be tuned up prior to heading for Alaska this summer. Nice set of individual fans have been added to the dash as you can see.Both work BUT the passenger side fan does not stay inside of its swivel so it will have to be fixed The cassette stereo system does not work,I do not know if it is dead or has just blown a fuse so take this into consideration. I think that this one is called the weekender as it has no sink or stove in it but everything else is included-beds privacy curtains all the way around-rear air conditioner.The seat that is in the back next to the fridge has a chemical toilet under the cushion,nice for an emergency . The tires look to be fine to me with lots of tread still left on them BUT remember they have been SITTING FOR FIVE YEARS AND MAY BE DRY ROTTED so I would have them checked out before getting too far away from home. There are a couple of add ons to the vehicle made of heavy duty plywood and painted brown. extra oil pressure gauge and voltmeter on the dash work fine.
