Hi and thanks for stopping by our, no reserve, auction for this, "fun in the sun", 2002 VW Cabriolet GLS, Convertible. Volkswagen's Cabrio is good fun. A four-seat convertible with simple good looks, spry performance and premium sound, the Golf-based drop-top is the perfect summertime cruiser. Road feel is superb, and the thick four-spoke steering wheel falls readily to hand. At high speeds, the VW feels solid and sure; this is a car that will get you speeding tickets, if you're not careful. Handling is excellent, in the Volkswagen tradition. The miles are only 72,842 at this time! They may be higher at the time of delivery. The, ebony black exterior still has a nice shine to it with some normal wear. The, tan, interior is in decent condition. One small rip on the side of the driver seat edge. Any stains you may see should disappear after we have it professionally detailed before delivery. All power items are in working order at this time. Features a, 115hp, 2.0L, 4-cylinder engine that runs strong and an automatic, transmission that shifts right on point. This baby comes with CFC-free air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with CD changer pre-wiring, a glass rear window with defogger, an anti-theft system, power windows, power mirrors, heated seats, cruise control and a cloth top. The front tires are in really good conditon, as you can clearly see in our detailed pictures. The rears are a bit weaker. The rubber rides on 14" alloy wheels. Safety features found on this Cabrio include roll bar protection, 4-wheel disc brakes, ABS and front and side air bags. With its fun-to-drive character, the VW Cabriolet is our choice! Few scratches/chips around it and some paint work thats hardly noticeable. Purchasing an older vehicle, such as this, makes good financial sense. You're able to avoid the steep depreciation rates that occur with brand new vehicles. This essentially gives you the advantage of getting a pre-owned vehicle for less money than when it was new.
