2005 Nissan Pathfinder SE Off-Road Let me start off by saying, what a fantastic car!...... I'm kinda sad I'm selling it, its almost like getting rid of an old dog that has always been there. All kidding aside, I always dreamed of buying myself a brand new Pathfinder. Since childhood, I've been a Z nut and a collector car guy ever since. Throughout life I've owned a new Rodeo, Sportage, Tribute, etc. but always wanted to buy myself a brand new Pathfinder. Unfortunately, the Pathfinder was priced slightly out of my range. Well, 2005, with the help of a promotion and a little 'just do it' I bought the car you are looking at. At over $35,000, it wasn't cheap, but boy was it worth every penny. Again, what a fantastic car. Comfort, ride, quality & dependability...it has lived up to my every expectation. The mileage is a little high, but you wouldn't notice it by the ride. I'm a car fanatic (check my history to see some the beauties that have come and gone my way). I maintain ALL my cars as such. This was my daily driver for 6 years, but I always took care of it. I do a lot of long distance driving (highway) for work, which is where most of the miles came from. Features: (See pics of window sitcker for everything) Comes with original Window Sticker & Brochures 270hp 4.0L V-6 w/ 5 speed Automatic Transmission 4 wheel Anti-Lock Disc Brakes Limited Slip and Vehicle Stability Control Off-Road Package w/ Rancho Suspension and skid plates Tow Package 6 Disc in-dash MP3 CD with 2 Aux inputs in glove box Sunroof Leather w/ heated seats 3-row seating Factory Rubber Floor mats over Factory (never touched) Berber Mats Automatic Headlights Homelink Tinted Windows Mechanical: The good: Within the last 30k miles it has gotten new brake pads, tires, complete tune up with plugs and packs & fuel pump w/ sending unit. Oil has always been changed every 3,500 miles with Mobil 1. Might have slipped Royal Purple in once or twice, but typically Mobil 1. I also run Seafoam every 10k miles for the fuel system. The 'not perfect': The oil pressure sending unit went out, so pressure reads high. The Nissan tech's told me the warning light is independent, so if I never bothered to fix it. Also, it is a premium "recommended" car....I've noticed if you run too much regular the check engine light will come on. Code reads 02 sensor, but fill it with Premium and the light will go off within a couple miles. Long story short, run premium or live with the light. I choose to run premium. Body: She's not perfect. In the interest of full disclosure, there are a couple dents, dings and bug marks here and there. Remember, Im a collector car guy, so I tend to see things under the microscope, but you should know before you buy that it is not comparable to a brand new one. Of course, give me 5 minutes and I could find blemishes on a new one too. You won't find this on carfax or autocheck....but full honesty....I back it into a tree stump a couple years ago and did minimal damage to the rear bumper. It was replaced with a brand new OEM Nissan Bumper painted to match and looks perfect. But I thought you should know that. Interior: Other that a small seam on the driver seat which you can see in the picture, it is very nice. Rear center cup holder doesn’t work right, but apparently that is an inherent problem to these cars. Rear climate controls can be finicky also, but the front controls for the rear work fine. There is a base for a Sirius Radio on the dash, I’m taking that. Same for my boat, so that why I didn't use the built in Sirius. Good news is, I will leave the interface in the glove box that gives you 2 Aux inputs to the factory radio. Of course, the car is sold as-is where-is with no warranty. I will do my best to assist the buyer with any shipping arrangements, but the cost is the buyer's responsibility. All funds must be cleared in the sellers account before releasing the title & vehicle. Thanks for looking. FYI: The car comes with everything shown....bra, side steps, sunroof shield, rubber floor mats, berber floor mats and even the cargo net for the back. Not shown, but included, is an interface (in glove box) that gives you 2 aux inputs into the factory radio. The only thing I'm taking out is the Sirius dock shown on top of the dash. On Feb-13-11 at 08:37:08 PST, seller added the following information: Going through old receipts.....U-Joints were also replaced at 126,342 on 7-10-10 On Feb-13-11 at 08:49:30 PST, seller added the following information: It also had Nissan's major tune up service at 67k miles and 120k miles. Gear box, transmission, spark plugs, ect. etc. were all done at 120k. Important to note Nissan did these services, the Pathfinder has a LSD gearbox and the wrong fluid could cause major problems.
