Vehicle Detail
DESCRIPTION: 1969 Nova for sale. I have owned the car since 1995, I just don't drive it anymore. It is in good condition, mostly original. I have garaged it since 1998. It is ready to go, doesn't really need anything but to be finished. It is a solid drivable car. It is also long paid for, title is clear and in my possession. The floorboards are solid, was only some surface rust, same with trunk pans. The rear quarters have a bit of filler along the lip but it is minor. This was done years ago before I got it. They could be fixed 'right' with only some patch panels, no need for full quarters. Everything else is solid. Interior is pretty good, was originally green, changed to black. Bench seats. Was an original AC car, all that is gone. Everything looks good though. New windshield. No headliner but I have all the parts. Front sub-frame was rebuilt in 1997 with new bushings and all. I also added power disc brakes. A couple years ago I added Hotchkis drop coils and CCP drop spindles, like new, Driven once since installed - no miles. I then added Hotchkis rear drop springs - again, driven once. Sits pretty low, drives straight but should have an alignment. All wheels are factory style GM steel wheels. The fronts are 15x6 with 215-65's and the rear are 15x7 with 255-60's. Tires are BFG Radial TA in excellent condition, still have the teets. Rear end is factory 8.2 open with 3:08, multileaf and drums. Engine is a 400 small block chevy, it had been gone through in the late 90's as well. It still runs strong, hardly any miles on it, maybe 5000. Like I said, I never drive it. It has mostly stock heads, roller tip rockers, edelbrock intake with Carter 650, mild cam. Transmission is Borg Warner Super T-10 4 spd with Hurst Indy floor shifter, clutch is good. Hedman headers with practically new Flowmaster American Thunder mandrel bent exhaust system with h-pipe and series 80 single muffler. It is dual in/out like the factory style...sounds real good too. This car originally had the 250cid 6 cylinder with 3spd manual, column shift. Most everything works on this car. I haven't really had any trouble with it. The only thing I can say is whoever buys it should trailer or transport it home. The starter overheats from the exhaust and if you shut it off, it will not start for quite a while. It will need a starter. Washer squirters are not hooked up. No heater/defroster, spare tire or radio. TERMS: NO SHIPPING! You come pick it up at my house with your truck and trailer. I need non-refundable PayPal deposit of $50 at auction end to hold the car. You then need to come with cash or plan on going to my bank with me to make sure the CASHIER check goes through before you take the car. My bank closes at 5 during the week and noon on Saturdays so make it early. On Feb-22-11 at 06:34:55 PST, seller added the following information: I WILL ADD MORE PICTURES TODAY, 2/22/11!! On Feb-23-11 at 06:07:38 PST, seller added the following information: *****I have added pictures of the trunk as requested by several people***** This really is a solid car - minimal rust. It has been garaged the past 12 or more years and that's helped to preserve its condition. It has a bunch of new parts and low miles on the motor. I also have quite a few extra parts available to the high bidder (misc chrome trim/emblems, interior parts, heater/ac parts, complete drum front subframe, hood and some other misc.
