The car runs and drives, but will need some work before it is back on the road. the previous owner told me it was a sprint, and as far as i can tell it has everything the sprint would of. it was last taged in 2000, and has been garaged for atleast the last 5 years. it is a complete car except is missing the rear bumper. have a new quarter panel for the left side but it still needs to be put on. it has a new gas tank, new plugs and wires, and new air filter. all the tires look good, including the spare. comes with 2 sets of mustang hub caps. it has rust in a few spots, but not bad for its age. needs a little body work done on the front, and the hood needs to be fixed(it came unlatched and blew up). all the glass is good, front seats are pretty worn, headliner is in great shape but has two tears(one is about 1in the other is about 3in), has the original center console in good shape. the floor pans are in bad shape and should be replaced. has an after market carb made by holley, but still have the original as well. the doors and trunk open and close perfectly. it was made on feb 4 1966, so if it is a sprint, it is a very early one. it needs some work but is a great project car with endless potential. if i left something out, don't hesitate to ask questionsOn Feb-21-11 at 16:35:29 PST, seller added the following information: car is being sold as is where is. serious biders can make arrangements to look the car over before they bidOn Feb-21-11 at 18:17:14 PST, seller added the following information: just received an email confirming that it is a sprint 200 built in Dearborn, Michigan, and it will be in the sprint 200 registry.
