This auction is for a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Hard Top. Car collector magazine lists this vehicle at $2040 to $3400. I have dropped the price to $500.00 so I can please the wife and get it gone. A bit of TLC and this baby would be a prize vehicle. Pluses; Brand new tires. Was on jacks for 10 years in my barn. 8 months ago I put the new tires on it sprayed starter fluid in the carburator and after one sputter, one more spray and it started and I drove it to the place where the picture was taken. Last year GM put a 500 cubic inch engine in a car. I just pulled a battery from my Chevy pickup (also listed) and it stared right up and drove to a new parking spot behind my fence. Great car for the person who wants to cherry it out and have a real piece of American automotive history! Minuses; Needs exhaust system, trunk carpet, windshield has a crack, the speedometer does not work (have used speedometer/ cruise control unit that may fix that, also used alternator and various hoses) rubber nose cones are deteriorating, hood ornament was stolen, vinyl rooof needs restoring, interior is about a 6 out of 10, needs a battery, the only real body damage is the dent in the door as seen in the picture, one piece of chrome.. I hate to sell it but the wife says I have too many project cars and I am nearing retirement with no lottery win to help get these cars restored. This is the last price reduction. The engine and tires are worth this price. . As always, the auction item is sold as is and the buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
